Got a few bargains tho grocery prices ever on the up there was still a few bargains at paknsave cf new world & countfown in cambridge and matamata, plus 6c a litre off petrol which was cheaper than matamata so went well towards whatever it cost to drive from work in Cambridge and home from Rotorua after the home show - along with the savings from getting our weekly sushi fix at St pierre in rotorua rather than local in matamata
Nice place for groceries. We found everything we needed. Produce were fresh. Staff were friendly and helpful.
We bought some mixed nuts but peanuts were rancid so they refunded. Good and Fair service. Feedback: the fresh bakery savoury muffins should have the ingredients displayed. We don't eat pork but didn't know that the savoury muffin had bacon in it.
Speedy helped us get some items that weren’t on the shelf. Lovely guy to chat to, told us he’s been working here for 40+ years and was just such a delight. You need more Speedy’s in your store!
Our go-to supermarket for groceries and supplies. They have a very useful website for ordering online so you can easily compare prices and brands; there's a $6 fee for service and bagging for the scheduled pick up, but it saves so much time and you don't need to go up and down the aisles searching for items.
Can't enter with a backpack. While I may understand the reasoning behind that, the least a supermarket can do is provide lockers for customers. Leaving all your valuables in a shopping cart at the entrance is not my definition of "safe". Did not shop there.
This place feels like a Costco or Sams Club back in the USA. They have everything for the camper or RV traveler. Ample parking lot too. It is packed, always! But the check out lanes go nice and smooth. I recommend all of the fresh fruit and mix and match trail containers. Feb 2020 for photos.
This store has a wide range of grocery items, is well stocked and well priced. It's worth driving over from Taupo to Rotorua for the options this store offers. pak n save in Taupo only offers half the options and are often out of the certain items you need.
I haven't been home in sometime but find they have almost all the necessary products I need. I enjoy the experience of getting to know where everything is
Great specials, very crowded, but checkout was good, checkout operator was friendly and super efficient. There were plenty of disability parks A+.
