PAK'n SAVE Rotorua

Love paknsave as a supermarket. Not too overwhelming or overly stimulating for people who are just trying to get their groceries. This also helps with managing the kids while shopping and keeps the environment a calm, happy grocery shopping one. Easy to come across the things that you need but pick up extra bits and pieces also that you didn't need. Great. Prices are competitive but all cost of living is very high too.

We bought some mixed nuts but peanuts were rancid so they refunded. Good and Fair service. Feedback: the fresh bakery savoury muffins should have the ingredients displayed. We don't eat pork but didn't know that the savoury muffin had bacon in it.

I use a backpack wherever I go, but not allowed at PaknSave due to thefts. So, I refrained from shopping there that day. Went there another day without my backpack, crowded, presentations of veges and fruits do not compare with New World or Countdown. A big store but not as nice to shop in comfortably. I shop in other stores that allow me to keep my backpack on rather than leave it in a trolley with an employee.

They ask us to leave your backpack in an trolley in the entrance. The strange thing was that we had a small backpack and other people had much bigger bags inside. We had our valuable things in it because we never leaving them in the car. We tried to explain it to the woman there but she said it's the store rule... After entering and seeing all the people with bags we left because obviously the ask just some people the think they would steal ... We as a family had to be very suspicious. It was the unfriendliest happening ever in an supermarket ever and i would never go to pak'nsave again. They should value their customers and not think everyone with backpack is a thief. If you ask for bags and backpacks, then ask all the people and provide locker r and not trolleys where everyone can take the begs an run. Also your staff should be friendly and show some empathy when asking to leave one's bag.

Fantastic service as always.. incredibly hard working staff. They are all under a fair amount of pressure lately.. with the odd irate member of public, dishing out unnecessary frustrations. They deserve to get a bit, more patience from all of us.. A huge thank you from me and my whanau

This place feels like a Costco or Sams Club back in the USA. They have everything for the camper or RV traveler. Ample parking lot too. It is packed, always! But the check out lanes go nice and smooth. I recommend all of the fresh fruit and mix and match trail containers. Feb 2020 for photos.

The only pak’nsave in New Zealand where you can't enter with a small bag/backpack, so terrible!! Are you special!? Organise lockers if you don’t trust your customers!!!! The manager says that this is the store's policy and that if I don't like it, I can go to the Countdown across the street - sooo polite and customer-oriented store, 0/100, one star is too much!!

Another great PaknSave, plenty of stock available, staff are always friendly and helpful, large car park, fuel station on site and well located within Rotorua.

Well another pak n save. For backpackers - beware if you have a bag. There is a guy that says to you to leave your backpack in a Designated area… well i guess I understand why if somebody is stealing but its a nuissance that yould be prevented in a different way. Oh and there are no public toiletes which is strange as I am kinda used to them in Pak n Save anywhere else.
