PAK'nSAVE Riccarton

I’d like to give a huge shout-out to Jeralyn from Pak N Save Riccarton for her top-notch customer service. She is always so friendly, welcoming, and greets shoppers with a genuine smile. Every time we see her, she goes above and beyond to be helpful.nnToday, she took the time to patiently show us how to use the Shop ’n Go system, which will make our future shopping trips much quicker and easier. She explained everything clearly and made the whole experience stress-free.nnStaff members like Jeralyn truly make a difference and reflect so positively on the store. She is an absolute asset to the team and definitely deserves recognition — and a raise! Thank you for always making our shopping experience so pleasant.

First time at this store, was surprised at the self check out that the staff had to stop the process to open my paper bag of onions to check the number inside. Indeed my maths was correct and they found 2. A minute later and my bag of chillies also sounded the alarm and again they had to open the bag and again re-check my eyesight and indeed there were 5 chillies, as I had told them. In 60 years I can’t recall ever being a suspect in crime before. Not only my first, but may last visit to this store.

Visited a few PAK'nSAVE stores around the country. Super impressed. Layout is similar. A much larger store. A huge variety. Easy to find. Situated in the mall, which makes access to other stores very easy. Lots of parking across multiple levels. Fresh produce was perfect.

It gets the job done. But the layout is confusing as. Also the lighting is somehow slightly dim, which gives it a weird atmosphere. If you wanna know what a well designed Pak'nSave is then go to the Moorehouse Ave branch.

Layout not convenient for quick purchase and crowded with people that are not observant of others. You'll have group/family doing a full shop and taking most of the wide aisles, people moving slowly and randomly not paying attention to others. I'm sure if the layout could help in a way with customers behavior and way they respect others or don't have too if they are just not capable of it.
