FreshChoice City Market

Considering this is an urban grocery store in a downtown shopping center, I was quite pleased with the selection. I had no problem finding sandwiches and chips and all sorts of snacks to bring back to the hotel room and would be my driving snacks. The store is nicely laid out with lots of options.nnSelf-checkout worked well and I had no problem using my American credit card to pay for my stuff.

Unexpectedly can get many asian stuff here. It cant be found in any other supermarket. Besides, I was surprised they sell duck fats and other stuff. Lots of wine selections, breads, and fresh vegetables. Only problem is that prices are slightly higher than other supermarket, but considered they are at the city center, is reasonable.

This review is for the Lil Ruby coffee bar in this supermarket. The coffee isn't bad and at times in the morning they have a $3 / 8Oz coffee which is good value. The staff are friendly and try to meet customers' requirements. They have a few small tables for two people. Happy to try them again. Thank you.

Insanely overpriced especially the bakery items, pls go to Pak n save for their pain au chocolat, they’re double the size but whoever does the music is always plsying taylor swift deep cuts and maisie peters. i see u diva, i appreciate u.

Fresh Choice supermarket in the city is way too expensive! There are much better options nearby like PacknSave, New World, all just a few minutes’ walk away. For example, Whittaker chocolate costs $5.79 at PacknSave but a whopping $8.10 here. You can get so much more for your money at the other supermarkets.nnOn top of that, the security guy at Fresh Choice is really unprofessional. Save your money and avoid this place. Go to PacknSave, New World instead!
