Surprised that the fresh-produce section is not larger. Lots of NZ beers in cans, including several low-alcohol options. Many vegan items around the store, including a small “Health foods” section and a Magnum vegan almond ice-cream bar in the cooler before the checkout area. Also, some packets of Wattie’s Plant Proteinz meals.

Considering this is an urban grocery store in a downtown shopping center, I was quite pleased with the selection. I had no problem finding sandwiches and chips and all sorts of snacks to bring back to the hotel room and would be my driving snacks. The store is nicely laid out with lots of options.nnSelf-checkout worked well and I had no problem using my American credit card to pay for my stuff.

This review is for the Lil Ruby coffee bar in this supermarket. The coffee isn't bad and at times in the morning they have a $3 / 8Oz coffee which is good value. The staff are friendly and try to meet customers' requirements. They have a few small tables for two people. Happy to try them again. Thank you.

I am disabled on a low income and rely on precooked cheap protein and other fresh goods delivered by uber. This store was innicially really good about helping remedy my issues with a pattern of constant not in stock for vital food. Mouldy vegetables, chicken pink or so dry the leg develops a hole. They lie, and the process of aiming to solve the issue is obsurd. The staff are rude and no I wasn't rude. I'd suggest to stay away from anything that's bakery or deli as you're risking food poisoning. Really disappointed it was a great store. The issue can easily be fixed with some mild changes on their end and its cost a lot to replace the main item. And in a shell, I just got that the person I spoke to doesn't exist in a really rude way.

Since it’s in the city you have to expect the prices to be a bit more expensive, but they are so overpriced here it’s crazy. The staff and security guard literally stalk everyone that goes in there and if you have a bag, are young, try to leave without buying anything etc then they will assume you’ve stolen something. It’s very stressful and embarrassing. Went in to see how much the chocolate was, debated whether it was worth $9 for awhile then decided it wasn’t so went to leave and when they were checking my bag they said they were looking for chocolate products? Okay? Not the first time it’s happened either so idk if I should be offended or not….. I understand they’re doing their job but maybe make it fair by checking everyones bag or have a genuine reason to check? The profiling is very obvious
