Excellent selection of Indian spices, snacks and ayurvedic items.nI noticed noodles and paneer tikka masala samosa as well which I haven’t seen at other places.nThere are fresh vegetables available.nnThe variety of snacks available is huge. You can be spoiled for choosing the best. Lot of variety in frozen section.nThe staff is courteous and super friendly.nDuring weekend there are long queues for checkout.nThere is ample parking space available.nThe place is very clean and tidy. The ambiance is great. I get a positive feeling of freshness.

I bought this gram flour a couple of weeks ago and found full of black mites inside the sealed pack when I opened it. It seems the shop owner is more focused on increasing prices than on improving product quality.

Recently purchased Kozhikodens Jeergashala rice, and the quality was very disappointing. The rice was infested with weevils and had a significant amount of dust, despite the packed date being December 2023. It’s unclear if the packaging was tampered with, but the product was definitely not up to standard.nnLiving far from the store, it wasn’t possible to return the rice, so it had to be discarded. Yogiji is one of the busiest and best stores in Christchurch, and it's hoped that more care and ethical standards will be maintained with product quality to preserve the store's reputation.

A better alternative out of 3 Indian stores in Christchurch. I visited late during closing hours and the cashier at that time was least helpful which is excusable due to my visiting hours. Better wide offering with almost the same pricing. Ample parking space.

We are one of many regular customers of Yogi ji. Inspite of some pricing errors, we come back. Mqny times, i have experienced that there are descripencies between the price advertised and the price charged. I don't have time to go back as i check this after I get home.nnThis time, I am sharing a screenshot from Yogi Ji's social media page advertising some promo valid until 21st April. It showed Swad Saag- 2 for $6.99. I got 2 of the tins. But when I reached home, the receipt shows that I was charged $11.98 for 2 tins. It gets frustrating that the business doesn't match the price that they advertise. Either they should not do false advertising or update the price in their system correctly. I am sharing this, in case somebody else has noticed this same pattern.
