This is the fourth time I’ve had problems with this shop. They keep messing up the weight and sometimes even the quantity of the items. Every time I raise the issue, they just tell me to come back to the store for a refund.nnThis is already the third time I’ve called them about the same problem. I’ve explained multiple times that I live one hours away from Christchurch and only come into the city about once a month. Despite that, they still insist that I drive all the way back just to get my money back instead of simply transferring it to my bank account.nnWhat’s even worse is that this hasn’t only happened to me. A couple of my friends have also had the same issue with incorrect weight or quantity from this shop.nnI understand that mistakes can happen sometimes. But when the same problem has happened to the same customer four times, the least they could do is take responsibility and refund the money by bank transfer instead of forcing someone to drive hours back to the store.nnVery disappointing service and extremely frustrating to deal with. Be careful when buying from here and always double-check the weight and quantity of what you’re paying for.

Absolutely love this place! It has everything you could possibly want from an Indian grocery – from fresh produce, spices, lentils, flours, snacks, frozen parathas, to hard-to-find specialty items. The shelves are always well-stocked, and the store is clean and organized.nnPrices are fair, and they often have great deals on bulk items. What really makes it stand out is the friendly staff — they’re super helpful if you’re trying to find something specific or need a recommendation for a certain dish.nnWhether you’re doing a full Indian meal prep or just craving a quick samosa and some masala chai mix, this place has it all. Honestly, once you shop here, you won’t want to go anywhere else. Highly recommended!

One staff at counter very rude. I went last week when there was a food stall at the back side. One car was parked which was not a parking. I noticed same issue many times. So I told the tall young guy with beard at counter if they can put a yellow mark to that area with 'No Parking' sign.nAt first he said they are not aware if there is any food stall in their premises. When I questioned how that can be as it was in their premises, then he started saying it is individual's sense who parked there. I just suggested to put yellow 'No parking' mark as for the one car parked marked red, all the cars at backside marked green would have been impacted.nThe staff tall with beard at counter was arrogant.nOne more thing, I noticed that for many items on racks they put less price tag, but when invoiced they took more price. When I pointed, they mentioned they forgot to change the price tag. I think that's one tactics to dupe customers.

Hi i had bad experience recently.i bought red salt bag it came with small stones in it.i attached photo thats from one scoop of red salt.nOther thing i bought allubhujia that was really bad feels like not done properly .color was off and taste was bad and it was feeling like not cooked enough ,it gets doughy in mouth i took that package back to shop but that guy refused to return because i didn't have recipient,
