PAK'nSAVE Moorhouse

Huge Pac n Save close to the CBD. Lots of parking space. Great daily deals. All kinds of foods - fresh, frozen, packaged, ready to eat, ready to cook; they have a bakery and a deli.

Another branch of Pak'nSave and this one is located on the main CBD and near the Colombo Street. It has a big parking lot so no issue with parking space even on busy days.nnThe store is quite big and has almost everything related to daily grocery needs and veriable items from different price range and companies. The staff is very professional and courteous. Overall good for a weekly or monthly shopping.

nnPAK'nSAVE Moorhouse is a very good supermarket overall. The store itself is very open, spacious and inviting, which makes it easy to move around and find what you need without feeling cramped. It’s one of the better laid-out supermarkets in Christchurch in that regard.nnCustomer service can be a bit of a “Liquorice Allsort” — you never quite know what you’re going to get depending on who you talk to. On the flip side though, many of the staff are willing to help and are quite knowledgeable when you ask them about products or where things are located.nnWhere things could improve is when trying to raise constructive feedback with supervisors or management. Those conversations haven’t always been the most positive or receptive, which is a bit of a shame because feedback can help improve things for everyone.nnTheir online shopping service is actually great and usually done in a very timely fashion. Sometimes it feels like orders are completed a little too quickly though — I’ve had substitutes listed on my invoice, only to go into the store later and see the original item actually on the shelf.nnOverall though, it’s still a very good supermarket and a place I’m happy to shop at regularly. A few tweaks around communication and consistency would easily push it to a full 5 stars.

Busy place staff work hard, prices mostly good compared other supermarkets. Well stocked and parking is very good.nGood quality fruit and veg.nGood on you Pak'nSave I only shop here.

Car park was tolerable before, but now it's absolutely atrocious after they hired Ray Charles to redesign it. Absolutely abysmal configuration. Good to know we've got geniuses running one of the biggest supermarket in the South Island.
