High prices but lots of options for groceries. It says New Zealand's cheapest food options, but in actuality the prices are quite high for an average customer.
I loved the supermarkets in new Zealand and Australia. Lots of varieties and nice local produce.
Huge set up with expansive parking space. Varieties of groceries & many other stuff. Attractive deals on many items. Helpful & cordial staff. Loved the experience.
Bought some prawns with the label price $19.99/kg, while it became $22.99/kg in the system when I scanned it, asked the lady at self check out why was that, but she laughed at me and said, “don’t want to answer the stupid question” and left. I said I need sone support here, she refused and asked another guy to help me. That guy didn’t help either said it’s not the duty and responsibility of his apartment, I should go to the food counter to ask the staff there but not him. He said people at the food counter do that all the time, the unit prices on the labels are different from the system. He kept asking me if I want to buy the stuff or not, I can leave it here if I am not happy with it. But actually I was not happy with their attitude and rude manners. I came back home and weighted the prawns and found some shortage.
Purchased 5kg Agria potatoes only few days ago from now ,opened bag ,many rotten potatoes have a distinctive unpleasant odour ,how could the supermarket sell these to the customers without quality control check ,those potatoes should be dumped rather selling them . Not happy, I had to dump them all
