PAK'n SAVE Albany

It's always busy so you need to time your shopping well, early morning is best. Don't bother going on a day before a closed public holiday like Easter/Xmas. Currently undergoing refurbishment but they have planned it well and does not disturb shopping. The service deli has been closed for a long time

Never go wrong with Pak n Save Albany. Super friendly staff. Aisles have easy access with great prices for my shopping requirements. Meats, poultry area have great selections and packaged well. Always my place for main shopping.

I like this location but due to moving items around and renovations, it's hard to find a lot of things. For example, the bakery items are now kept at the self checkouts and the lollies are almost hidden. I've found just about everything I need after looking for a while. I'm sad they took away a big selection of the pick a mix lollies like the sherbet fizzies. A lot of the frozen section was empty or the freezers had lights out. There were no eggs on the shelf available when I visited. Good deals sometimes. Regular checkouts have long lines. The employees are friendly but the parking lot is a squeeze.

Bakery guys take a bow. Your food is amazing. Specially your Gourmet muffins. Bought a load for the office and they were all scoffed in minutes. Fresh and moist . Delicious.

Check out: Honestly I pretty much never complain but when I came in tonight I had a very unpleasant experience with my cashier caitlyn L. Not only did she stop putting my stuff threw to talk to her Co worker behind about her personal stuff for the weekend, she said hello then ignored me for the rest of the time and came off as quite rude when I said something about the transaction. I understand she's yound but being this bad and nonchalant about your job is not ideal and it is the kind of experiences that can make people not come back to this store.

Just got home from doing a big shop. Very poor meat packaging. Plastic trays covered in cling-film had leaked meat juices into our reusable fabric carry bags. This makes us very angry. How hard can it be to get the basics right?

Always chaotic, though kept fairly tidy with shelves stocked. Would be great if they had baskets to prevent so many people with trolleys everywhere

Very busy. Helpful staff. Not my usual so was getting lost. Staff helped me find what I needed. Shopping again today at Albany. Still great staff. Some very rude and arrogant shoppers. Don't know how staff stay quiet

We went 8pm Saturday on 17th Dec. The fruit and vegetables were in a shocking state. Mangos were $4.99 each and every piece was bruised and/or rotten. Mandarins were the same, Kiwi the same. Broccoli was horrid. Onions were not in great shape either. No real variety of eggs. We either walked right past a hidden deli or butchery somewhere as we thought we would buy a small amount of ham but we couldn't find a deli so had to settle for $11.51 worty of prepacked ham. Definitely not a store we will be going back to in a rush.

Last Saturday, February 11th, I bought 3 bags of whole meal flour from this store, and today I found that they were expired products. The expiration date is February 3rd. Very disappointed and will never shop at this supermarket again.
