Murphys Bush Reserve

After taking my dog to Truevets, took her for a walk and a picnic lunch. A lovely bush walk with steps going up to a grassed picnic area. Plenty of parking and only 5 minutes from Ormiston Shopping center. There are toilets and picnic tables by the carpark.

Really cool forest full of ferns. No trails where I entered and a little swampy in some locations but very doable. A cyclone went through the week before so maybe that had an effect.nnI noticed a post below about creepy old men doing dodgy stuff. I also noticed a couple of creepy guys in there looking suspicious almost like they were checking on their victims.

Lots of litter, human faeces across from new home construction site, strange dudes hanging around the picnic area. To bad as forest is beautiful.

Love this place. Not far from home and a lovely walk around when you feel like being with nature in the bush.nn.

Bush walks are great on a sunny day, track needs a little more maintenance, lots of broken brunches and paths need a little tidy up but safe enough to walk
