It's SUPER pretty! I had a little picnic and the vibe was amazing.nCould catch a sunset too.nHayman Park is another popular park in Auckland, known for its spacious grounds and various recreational facilities. Visitors often mention the large open fields, perfect for sports activities like soccer, rugby, or cricket. The park also features playgrounds for children, making it a great spot for families. Additionally, it hosts events and festivals throughout the year, adding to its vibrancy and appeal. Overall, Hayman Park offers a welcoming environment for both relaxation and active recreation.
The park is great, I'd give it 5 stars if there was better parking. Make sure you bring scooters/bikes and a pic nic for a fun time!
Coolest park for the kids and adults.nFlying fox, Basketball court, skate park, sandpit and public toilet however it does close at 9pmthe toilet The gate/door to play inside the tower closes at 10pm to 7am.nLiterally the best park yet.nTake the kids they'll absolutely love it.
Hayman Park has recently been upgraded with a new playground area as well as a skate park.nThere is a small carpark off Lambie Drive which is towards the ponds. It is also quite close to the Manukau Train Station, bus station and Westfield shopping center. Just note that the carpark is on the other side from the shopping center and the Playground.nIt was quite a nice place to walk around with the pond and greenery. The playground is on the mall side of the park and is quite new. The large structure is visible from afar and is quite fun to play in. There are also a few playing areas beside the structure like a flying fox and swings. The skate park is nearby and there are a few basketball courts around here too.nIt is a nice place to hang out outside.
This park was next to my apartment when I came to Manukau on my work trip. It is such a relaxing place, I could spend the morning sitting there watching the ducks float around the pond. This is one of the places that I miss visiting. Only complaint is the smaller pond having a load of trash in it, even saw a shopping trolley in it. Regardless, loved chilling next to the duck pond.
