A REAL LANTERN FESTIVAL IN NZnn1. Land space is far too big so there would be a lot of walking to do from venue to venue.nn2. Could not see any toilets, portal-loo or not.nn3. There’s no mobility parking at all and yet there were many people with waking sticks and the elderly.nn4. Apparently, the sit down audience were only invited persons such as BNZ sponsors and other organisations and the public were shunned. There was a grand stand for the public but that was too far away from the stage; therefore, it’s difficult to see the presentation.nn5. On the good side, the very long dragon of about 100 metres long was well set up.nn6. Basketball idea was a good one but it was only open to kids below 16. Don’t adults count?nn7. Good to see our Māori wardens again!nnWe love BNZ Lantern Festival this year which last from yesterday 22/2/2024 to 25/2/2024. We highly recommend you to go there and enjoy the lantern display and food stalls there.
Great venue for the Lantern Festival.nnIt was my first time yo visit it.nnI enjoyed walking around and watching the beauty of the lanterns at nights.nnThere were plenty of places to also sit, relax and enjoy.
The Chinese Lantern Festival was a mesmerizing experience filled with vibrant colors, intricate lantern displays, and cultural festivities. Walking through the illuminated pathways adorned with beautifully crafted lanterns was truly enchanting. The variety of shapes and designs showcased the rich heritage and craftsmanship of Chinese culture. The atmosphere was lively with traditional music, dance performances, and delicious food stalls offering a taste of authentic Chinese cuisine. It was a magical evening that left a lasting impression, perfect for families and friends to enjoy together.
The BNZ 2024 Lanterns Festival lighting show is fantastic. It would be even better if there were more free parking space.
A great experienced for my girls, don't mind stuck in the traffic for almost an a hour and walk 1km from where I found the parking.
