What I like about it is the playground. It has some shade installed and also from the nearby tree which is just nice placement all around.nnThe playground went for a nice balance between old up to early teen years and young children starting 5 upwards. With the high monkey bars for older kids to the easily traversed and climbed on slide area for young ones.nnNear the playgrounds is a camping table and 2 wooden benches facing the playground for the parents'nconvenience.nnBeyond the playground, it has ample enough space for outdoor sports cricket, soccer / football, rugby etc. It also it's own covered, though modest in size, outdoor auditorium.nnSome bits and pieces of rubbish could use some extra attention, tho. Also, some little bit of extra scrubbing to remove moss and bird fecal matters from the area would be great.
There is new playground for kids now. Good for walk with dogs and nice parking.
Gallagher Park is huge, it's lovely and provides huge trees for shade during summer. The trees are full of different species of birds. The grounds are well kept and are used for evening practices for sports. There is a spacious updated playground for children from the area which is always in full use on summer evenings and weekends. People gather for picnics under the tress. Sometimes a band will play on Sundays. It's a lovely safe place to gather and bring children, family and friends.
We have family worship every Sunday 2pm to 4pm - all welcome at the Scout Hall. It is always pleasant to spend time with family and friends.
It's really just grass and a stadium small one I used to walk my dog around the perimeter another counsellor put up signs no dogs allowed. Quite often rubbish plastic bottles and broken glass litter the area
