Dined in the Pvt room at such a big table. The food was wonderful and sharing is what it’s all about so you experience all the flavours here. The lobster was tasty too. Abalone was cooked to perfection. Had sea cucumber for first time and wasn’t too bad even.

We came here looking for a last minute restaurant on Valentine’s Day. After about 2 minutes of waiting we were seated, given our menus and offered drinks. We were told that they did not serve yum cha for dinner service but that didn’t bother us.nnOur orders were taken 15-20 minutes after being seated which I felt was a little long, however the food came out fairly quickly after that. Once we had everything we ordered, our waiter had told us that we had everything we ordered which was a nice touch and to let him know if we needed anything else.nnChicken with crispy pancake - okay. It was a cold salad which we weren’t expecting. The pancake was yumnPork buns - a little more sweet but nicenChinese beef sizzle plate - delicious. Would definitely recommendnChicken wings - nice and crispy, could do with a little more seasoningnWhitebait fritter - more on the expensive side but worth every cent!!nPrawn and cheese balls - the red crispy bits threw me off at first but they added a nice texture. Another must try menu item. Presentation was beautifulnnDinner menu has a lot to offer with a lot of unique dishes to try.nnParking wasn’t great due to it being shared with a number of other eateries. It was very busy and we had to circle the parking lot to find a space.nnWheelchair friendly - level entrance. Tables spaced well enough to allow accessibilitynnAlthough this restaurant is on the expensive side, I would definitely recommend if you’re wanting to try something new

We’ve been getting dim sum in Auckland for almost 10 years and this is by far the best place! Very authentic, fresh ingredients, beautiful presentation, creative new dim sum dishes and everything is absolutely delicious. The decor is nice, atmosphere is very comfortable and service is quick, friendly and efficient. There is a parking lot but it fills up by 12pm unless you wait for someone to leave - which is well worth it if you need to do so.

My husband and I enjoyed our lunch at Mr. Lobster Private Kitchen with our good friend on 22/4/2024.nnMy husband loved all his vegetarian dishes whilst my friend and I loved the most delicious steamed shrimp dumplings and deep fried squid. Hong Kong-styled egg tarts are the best in New Zealand.nnWe reckon this is the best Chinese restaurant for dim sum lunch in Auckland.nnThe lady owner who is from Malaysia is very hospitable and courteous.nnWe highly recommend you to have an enjoyable lunch there.

Dimsum and other dishes taste great and fresh. The service was very good, it was our first time there and they have explained how to order from your phone as they do not to trolleys anymore which was great as we don’t have to wait for it. We were lucky to get the table for two straight away during the busy hours. The order came very quick even though they are quite busy!
