Moana Nui-a-Kiwa Pool and Leisure Centre

Very clean and quiet facility, and the changing room was especially comfortable and well-maintained.nThe only downside was that the shower booths felt a bit narrow, and the short door/wall length meant towels hanging on the door could easily get wet.nIt would also be great if there were bag hooks on the wall near the shower entrances. Since the changing room is quite far from the showers, it felt a little uncomfortable not being able to keep an eye on personal belongings while showering.

The gym is a decent enough size to work out in. The pools looked pretty good, haven't tried them myself yet. I did try the sauna, that was nice but so congested around the door to get into it. It's so close to the spa that's literally right there and that was packed. Not sure about group classes yet, still need to try one, but I'm happy enough with the place.

Sept 8th 2025. This review is for kiddy Indoor Pools. The pools are great. Temp is warm well temp. It was busy with students but not so much kiddy pools which was what I was there for. Plenty of space and had fountains that sprout different shapes as water falls with whale waterfall great for sensory. Different water hights also. Deepest adult thigh height , kids waist height roughly.

Went today with my 7 and 9yo.nnThe pools were ok, however the family shower rooms were beyond disgusting. First one smelt like pee, so we went to the second one, which looked like someone pooped or vomited. Beyond disgusting. Lucky the third one was ok enough.nnI think this is the last time ill be taking the kids

Great place free to swim and shower!!! There is a lap pool spa, sauna and children's pools . Have to pay for spa etc. Great friendly staff
