Lokal Kitchen & Bar

We found this local gem towards the end of our Queenstown stay. We booked dinner here the last two nights. It is located on Fernhill Road away from the city center which meant parking was easier. It caters for fussy eaters and has something for everyone… including kids. They had a ‘smoker’ set up out the front where they smoked the meat. The food was amazing. The staff were friendly and full of local knowledge. There were no cocktails available however the wine list was extensive… so heaps to choose from. I highly recommend this restaurant if you are visiting Queenstown. It’s also a good idea to book as it gets pretty busy.

The best restaurant we tried in Queenstown!nnI had a tandoori chicken pizza and my fiancé tried the salmon with hummus and couscous, with extra corn cobs.nnThe pizza was really tasty. The food came super fast and the waiters were very friendly and amiable. I am truly sad we didn’t discover this place earlier! The quality of the food was significantly better than the restaurants in the city center!

Lovely friendly dining experience. Went their with my family and 2 small children staff were very friendly and had our table set up for us including kiddy things. Food was great also
