La Quinta by Wyndham Queenstown

Convenient location, when coming straight from the airport, and check in was extremely friendly, and helpful. The room was quite good, although maybe a little small, particularly the bathroom.nFor a one night stay, it is fine, but would like a little more space. Bathroom was too cramped, and difficult to manoeuvre around, butt otherwise a pleasant stay.

I booked the Standard Room with Mountain View for 4 nights. The room was a good size, but the bed was two singles put together so you could physically feel the gap in the middle of the bed. I did, however, get a room upgrade to a larger room with a kitchenette, dining table, and larger bathroom with washer/dryer.nnGranted the situation I am grateful for the room upgrade, but wish the communication was better received on both ends. I received a call on my first night, by the staff who helped me check in that afternoon around 3 PM. The staff asked what time I will be checking in which caused some confusion on my end because I was physically in the hotel for the past 4 hours and the staff had handed me the key card and instructions etc.nnI was told to come to the front desk the next morning for a room change, but I didn't mention I couldn't do that time since I had an activity booked that morning. So I arrived in the evening around 5PM to get a room change but was turned away because housekeeping had left for the day.nnThe next day, I approached the front desk and was helped by a different staff who asked me about the entire situation. I would have appreciated if the other staff let them know since it caused lots of stress on my end to explain the whole situation to them.nnMy new room was a nice size, however it was not particularly clean. I found hair and tissue and thread debris in the bathroom which wasn't pleasant to see. The bed and kitchenette was tidy.nnParking is extremely limited, first in first serve basis with around 18 free parking spots which is gone in an instant. The remaining parks are for the residence I'm the other building. I got a parking infringement ticket this morning but appealed it since I paid for 2 consecutive days for parking using the parkmate app.nnSo far, 5/10 for value, convenience, parking, cleanliness and location.

Check in was so friendly and efficient. The lovely receptionist made us feel so welcome. The room we got was exceptionally clean and well maintained. The bed was luxuriously comfortable, and the towels were so cozy. We loved being outside the main Queenstown area, it’s so much quieter here and for the price simply CANNOT BE BEAT!! We wish every hotel was like this one.

Located away from city centre, this hotel has got great view of mountain in its front. I stayed here for three nights. Rooms are great with kitchen facility in each one of them. The only thing not good about them is that they have a very limited parking space on first come and first serve basis.

Stayed for 3 nights on business. Affordable, cheap fittings and finish from the construction team. Room was dirty in any area not obvious. Bed wasn’t very well made, and room had an unpleasant smell that went once I turned on the air con. The shower mixer was scalding hot in every direction but a very precise position. Carpet was lifting. Paid for a “Mountain view”, was on opposite side to the Remarkables had a view of the shopping precinct and high school. However, it was reasonably quiet and the staff were excellent.
