La Quinta by Wyndham Queenstown

We stayed just overnight on our way to Milford Sound. The room was large and spotless. Very comfortable bed and firm mattress. I loved the space of the room, which allows you to feel more like home and not jammed between the walls. We even went for a quick gym stop though gym room is rather small, but you do not come to NZ to workout in the gym : Free parking at the hotel was very useful. We drove to the city center during daytime and walked to a nearby restaurant very tasty food for dinner in the evening. One of the most comfortable nights in NZ for us.

Staff were friendly. I stayed in room 101, Upon arrival I inspected my room.nnBathroom was small, Door right in the way of the toilet, Big king sized bed which was comfortable. Small stole and table, Would have rather of had a decent chair to sit in.nnTV had basic channels, Fridge was frozen so I found out the following morning, I went to reception and told them the lady said she would ask housekeeping why it froze the milk and my food I went away for the day came back to find they never fixed the problem.nnView from window was okay, Very limited parking for paying guests they seem to only care about their long term residents.nnOver priced and under delivered next time I'll be staying as t the Holiday inn where they actually serve food for their hotel guests...

We stayed here for one night because our flight arrived in the late evening. Good proximity to the airport about 25 minutes walking distance. The hotel itself is nice and new with a gorgeous mountain backdrop. The room was large enough for a short stay. The bathroom was quite small and the sink had virtually no room for toiletries. The air-conditioning unit was so noisy sounded like rushing water we had to turn it off. The walls are also extremely thin and you can hear everything - people talking in the corridor, snoring in the room next to yours and the sound of the neighbouring rooms showering and flushing the toilets. This makes for a terrible sleep, particularly if you are a light sleeper. As a result, we won't be staying here again.

We stayed here for 3 nights while visiting in and around Queenstown. Our rooms were fully equipped with all we needed. Great views of the mountain range. The bed was super comfortable and made by house keeping each morning. It was a bonus to have a washing machine and dryer which we weren’t expecting, made our road trip better to have fresh clothes. Reception is modern and has a convenience store attached. Receptionist friendly and was able to help when our keycards stopped working after the first night. Limited parking is available on site but public car park is situated behind the hotel. We had no faults with La Quinta and had a very pleasant stay.

Super close to Queenstown airport, restaurants, highways, library, and car rentals. Front staff are very friendly and approachable. Clean and crisp bed sheets, nice interior. I had an amazing mountain view. I could see the snow capped mountains close up from my bed. Towels are clean, bathroom has an electric drying rack which added to convenience if you want to dry handwashed clothes. Not a fan of the scent of shower gel/shampoo and lotion , maybe for some people they smell nice. Very convenient laundry and kitchen areas in the room, not all hotels have these. Dryer, washing machine, and dishwashing machine are readily available. It can be difficult finding a car spot as per reviews and hotel, but somehow I managed to get one every day I come back from my trip. Overall, I am happy with my stay
