Sudima Queenstown Five Mile

Stayed here from July 7-10. The hotel is new and the front desk staff are amazing. Location is very good too. However housekeeping could do a better job. There was still a bottle and medicine under the bed and a used sock when we arrived. I called the reception and the phone is stinky. I thought I'd let it pass but when using one of the mugs one has a coffee stain on it which I easily removed when I washed it.nI understand it is a busy hotel but hoping the cleanliness wasnt compromised just because they are rushing cleaning the room.

We stayed at Sudima 4 nights for my daughter’s 10th birthday and our first trip to Queenstown. We had an incredible experience and stay, the beds and overall facilities were comfy and the kids loved it. The hotel was close to many amenities and shopping areas. The view of the snow topped mountains was amazing to wake up to. The staff were pleasant and helpful. The cleaners were also very kind to take care of the party poppers mess we made in the room from our little surprise celebration! We were given a connecting room which was peace of mind for our family. Breakfast buffet was enjoyable, the waffle maker was a hit with the kids. Would suggest though to add a bit of change or variety some days to the breakfast menu. We also had dinner at Podium for the birthday and the staff treated the birthday girl to surprise dessert and sang the birthday song which was very kind of them. Sudima is generally our preference of choice where possible and we were not let down yet again. Would love to return.

If you are looking for a hotel close to Queenstown airport 5min drive look no further - Sudima is the one! The hotel is relatively new and close to Five Mile shopping centre. We only stayed here for one night but we had the best sleep of our trip. The beds and pillows are very comfortable and loved the bathroom too. Service was efficient and free parking for hotel guests too. Would recommend this hotel and will return.

The hotel is beautiful and the staff are friendly. It is nice that the hotel is right next to so many shops, pharmacy and food. The beds and pillows were exceptional, so soft but also firm, the perfect balance. The room we had was spacious and even had an Alexa in it, which my children enjoyed. I like that in the bathroom they had refillable shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and lotion to cut down on the plastic waste. The only reason I gave it 4/5 stars and 3/5 service is we got stuck in the elevator, which was stressful.

Nice well appointed hotel. Decor was done well and it was very clean and tidy.nnService was amazing! Polite, friendly and really helpful. Special thanks to the person working the front desk last night Thursday 4th who provided such phenomenal service when helping with Chrome Cast.nnLocation was very handy, only draw back was the lack of parking / access to EV charger.
