Exceptional Service from Rachel – Truly Above and Beyond!nnMy wife and I are currently staying at the Holiday Inn Queenstown Remarkables Park, perfectly located near the airport with beautiful views of the Remarkables. Our check-in experience was fantastic – the front desk agent was incredibly warm, friendly, and efficient, immediately setting a wonderful tone for our stay.nnLater in the day, we noticed our mini fridge wasn't cooling though the light and power were working. We reported it to Rachel at front desk, and even though the hotel was fully booked with no alternative rooms available and maintenance off-duty after hours, Rachel took incredible initiative. To our complete surprise and delight, she personally carried a replacement mini fridge up to our room and installed it herself with a single screw driver!nnRachel's dedication, positive attitude, and willingness to go the extra mile quite literally! made what could have been a small inconvenience into a highlight of our trip. Her outstanding service truly sets this hotel apart.nnThank you, Rachel, and the whole team. I'm a happy long term IHG member and will definitely remember our stay here for years to come. I was arriving around 9pm so decided I’d spend my first night right by the airport, and staying at the Holiday Inn Remarkables was a great choice.nnYou can take the bus from the airport $10 or a taxi/uber, but I walked—20 min, all smooth sidewalk.nnI’m normally a Hyatt guy, with the top ‘globalist’ status, so when I stay at other chains, it’s often an unfair comparison since I don’t get the upgrades, breakfast, water, and flexible check-in/out, but this Holiday in really impressed me. Check in was quick and easy with a friendly front desk, even as they helped a large tour group. My room was really nice—sound and light proof, very comfortable bed, pillow options, excellent shower, nice soap, lighting options, work area, and a mini fridge.nnSo for me, this place delivered the most important thing, a deeply restful sleep. I’m here on a very busy weekend with most hotels sold out or charging extremely high rates, and this hotel is very good value.

We booked here last minute after a very frustrating flight cancellation, just wanting something close to the airport for convenience. To be honest, we initially didn’t have high expectations - we were pretty frazzled with how our flight cancellation was so badly handled by the airline - but this ended up being such a great stay.nnCheck-in was quick, which we really appreciated. The room was comfortable, clean, and had a lovely mountain view. The bathroom was also great, complete with amenities. The TV options were a bit limited would’ve been nice to have Netflix or more channels, but overall still a very comfortable stay.nnThe highlight for us was definitely the breakfast experience. The place was packed, but the staff handled everything so calmly and efficiently. Everyone was incredibly friendly and accommodating despite how busy it was. Special shoutout to Cess - our flat whites Hummingbird beans! were one of the best we’ve had, perfectly made. Carol and Clarence were also amazing - warm, attentive, and constantly making sure all tables were cleared and guests were looked after. There was another lovely staff member with them too, though I unfortunately didn’t catch her name.nnAll in all, such a great experience. It made a stressful situation feel a bit more manageable.nnHighly recommend, and we’d happily stay here again!

Pros:n- Clean and spacious room exceeded our expectation!n- In room dining didnt cause a fortune - much appreciated as we had a long day and wanted to shower / rest asap. Same price as the restaurant menu with 5nzd service charge - reasonable. The fried chicken was delicious!n- Staff at check in was nice and accommodating especially regarding letting us park our car for a while before we returned itn- Quick check out process, great as we had to catch an early flightn- Close to the airport Uber one way was around 20 nzdnnCons:n- Not too close to the town centre, but that's not a problem for us as we only stayed here the night before our early flightnnWish we had stayed here for the whole of our queenstown stay!

Just stayed a week at Holiday Inn Remarkables and can say it was a pleasant stay. The rooms are clean and beds are very comfortable. I also really love how they had firm and soft pillow options. The only down side was the walls are very thin. We could hear everything the next door room were doing and everyone coming down the corridor at 10pm at night due to the sun going down later. As a light sleeper luckily I packed noise cancelling headphones and ear pods. Gone are the days of hotel etiquette.
