Holiday Inn Queenstown Remarkables Park, an IHG Hotel

We only stayed for one night at the back end of our trip, but it was one of our favourite accommodations. Rooms were clean and well serviced, and the hotel had a cool vibe. The real standout though was Leonel on the front desk - he was so friendly and helpful, explained everything clearly, and helped sort us out after we realised we’d accidentally booked a twin room. Would definitely recommend Holiday Inn Remarkables Park.

Two lifts for around 200 rooms - and for several hours one morning only one was working. Also, only 11 free carparks so when they state “limited parking” they really mean it. Their underground carpark was also completely booked out - so pretty limiting. You need to pay to use the public carpark. Also, we paid extra for the breakfast but one morning I needed to take my son to his meeting spot so just went into the restaurant very briefly to collect him and have a quick cup of coffee thinking I would have my breakfast when I returned after dropping him off however, they would not let me back into the restaurant without paying for another breakfast - no sympathy from the staff whatsoever even after I explained. Unfortunately, I would not recommend this hotel for these reasons.

We had a wonderful stay! Our room was clean, comfortable, well-maintained, and offered a stunning view of the Remarkables. We really appreciated the complimentary room upgrade—it made our stay even more special.nThe staff were friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help. The location was perfect, with easy access to Queenstown and nearby attractions.nOverall, it was a relaxing and enjoyable stay, and we would definitely recommend Holiday Inn Remarkables to anyone visiting the area. Excellent service highly recommend, plenty of parking if you can't secure any at the hotel, large paid parking area nearby, 3 min walk. Staff hospitality is excellent. Rooms are serviced at a very high level.nThe Giants restaurant menu was very good for pricing. The breakfast are also great value along with a pretty good variety that sustain your appetite for a busy day of activities to do in the region.nI would say they are a good option away from the hustle and bustle of the center of Queenstown. Close to the airport and close to other stores in the nearby shopping area 3 minutes away.nI'll definitely return for pricing, service and the feeling like your close to everything nearby that you might need. The front desk lady Rachel is a lovely girl and I can see her smiling face that welcoming me. def a great place to stay. Good location and comfy room. Don’t know another gentleman’s name but he is very nice too. Come back next time long forward to it.
