Had a nice stay! The hotel offers great value for money and is in an excellent location—super easy to walk into town and explore the area. The staff were welcoming and helpful, making the experience even better.nnThe only small suggestion I have is for the coffee options—being a coffee lover, I was hoping to order a piccolo or a macchiato, but it wasn’t something the staff were familiar with. It’d be great to see a few more coffee choices in the future!nnOverall, a wonderful stay, and I’d definitely come back!
Rooms were much more spacious and new than I was expecting, so was very pleasantly surprised!nnThis hotel is a very short drive from the airport. It had a small amount of free parking in a surface-level at the back marked in green, but its first come, first serve. It was full when we arrived, so we parked at the airport parking for $11 plus 50c card fee for 24hrs. The airport parking was a 1-2 min walk away, so it was still very convenient.nnThere are some lovely cafes right near the hotel, so there are yummy breakfast options nearby. The shops are a short drive away from the hotel as well.nnThe only downside was that the noise from the corridor was quite audible from inside the room.
It was truly the best hotel experience I’ve had in New Zealand in recent years. This hotel offers incredible value for the level of luxury and service provided. The rooms were spotless and beautifully designed, providing a quiet and comfortable retreat after a day of exploring. The room had a stunning mountain view, which made waking up each morning a delight, and the location was amazing—right next to the airport and close to a bus stop, making it easy to get around.nnThe staff were amazing—friendly, attentive, and always ready to go the extra mile to ensure a perfect stay. One of the standout features was the well-equipped snow equipment room, which made it incredibly convenient for our skiing adventures. The gym was also top-notch, with modern equipment that catered to all our workout needs. Additionally, the full buffet breakfast was not only delicious but also great value, offering a wide variety of options to start the day off right. Every detail of the hotel, from the cleanliness to the amenities, exceeded my expectations. If you’re looking for a luxurious yet affordable place to stay in Queenstown and close to the airport, I can’t recommend the Holiday Inn Remarkables enough. I will definitely be returning!
Just want to say how impressed myself and my partner were with our stay here. The lady we checked in with Karolina? was so lovely and personable and gave great recommendations for activities in the area. We ended up getting some kind of members reward upgrade to a better room with free parking and a couple of free drinks included and this was such a wonderful surprise. Matter of fact all the staff we encountered were fantastic. My partner woke up with a migraine on the day of check out and when I called the front desk on very short notice! to see if we could get some extra time in the room they kindly gave us another hour with no hesitation. Clean fresh rooms, nice amenities, yummy breakfast, absolutely no complaints. Thank you Holiday Inn Remarkables Park
This is a decent and quiet property. The overall property conditions and facilities are quite good, although our stay was clouded by some poor service/communication which we faced during our two nights stay at the Holiday Inn - Frankton Road Queenstown. We were advised by the receptionist / duty manager around 3 pm that the restaurant would be open for dinner up until 9 pm. Considering our lunch was quite decent, we opted to have our dinner as well as other meals at the hotel restaurant. However when we arrived for dinner at approx. 8 pm and were asked to take a seat, another member of the staff advised us that the last dinner service ended at 8pm and they could not serve us anymore as they were too busy serving a group. While we understand and appreciate a hotel should look after its bigger clienteles. we did not expect such poor communication from a chain hotel. At the very least, one of the staff could have informed us, given we were advised only couple hours earlier that dinner would be served until 9 pm. A clear example of the right not knowing what the left hand is doing! My partner and I left the restaurant with a bad taste, given we were initially allowed to enter and sit at the restaurant. As a newly wedded couple from Australia, I will not be returning or recommending this hotel to anyone.
