Kori desserts serve the softest bingsu I've tried. I personally like the coffee bingsu. We tried the yakult bingsu, mango as well as strawberry cheesecake. The latter has a real cheesecake on it.nnThey also offer soufflés but we haven't tried any since we got full with the bingsus.nnPrices are reasonable and even the single serving is for sharing.nnWorth trying!
The pancake soufflé was super light and frothy! Not too sweet and the toppings are what really gave it flavor. Went with the matcha red bean and really enjoyed how light of a treat it was.
We ordered the signature Okinawa Milk Tea Snowflake Bingsu, Choco Strawberry Mochi Souffle, Crème Brulee Souffle and Pink Matcha drink to share. The desserts are very unique and as tasty as they look. They are a decent size and big enough to share with someone
I recently visited Kori Dessert with my kids, and it was a delightful experience. This place is usually packed, so we decided to arrive early and ordered their fluffy pancake. The pancake was delicious, topped with fresh strawberries that added a perfect touch.nIf you visit, I highly recommend trying their pat bingsoo or Korean shaved ice dessert. I tried their new special, Yakult shaved ice, served in an adorable Yakult bowl. The ice was incredibly soft and not too sweet. The strawberry cheesecake shaved ice was another highlight, featuring a delicate cheesecake and fresh, large strawberries.nnI also had the pleasure of meeting the owner, who is originally from Indonesia and has 10 years of experience in Auckland's culinary scene. She was a dessert chef at a renowned restaurant in SkyCity, below the Auckland Tower.nnOverall, it was a fantastic dining experience. Just be prepared to wait during busy times, but it's definitely worth it!
Amazing dessert we wanted to try them all!!!nWe had the limited edition Okinawa Shaved ice, it was made of milk tea, grass jelly and brown boba pearls. The presentation was interesting. Then there's the creme brulee souffle, also covered in boba but oh so yummy torch burnt sugar. Finally the yokult ice with coconut jelly and yellow boba pearls that pops in your mouth! It was full when we arrived at 230pm and by the time we left at 5pm it was finally quiet. Parking was very easy.
