We had lunch on 08 June. Been charged extra $10!! Should be $55.5 but been charged $65.5!!nHad the Angus beef burger, super green salad and turmeric latte.nAngus beef burger3/5: beef patty was definitely not fresh as it tasted sour and also the meat was dry and tough and too chewy.nSuper green salad2.5/5: $22 for a small salad and tasted very plainnTurmeric latte3/5: way too sweetnAlthough food was really disappointing and we waited for a bit to get seated, service was good.

Food very good and the cabinet as well sometimes the kitchen failed with the consistency of some dishes ….the Spanish omelette one day cooked at perfection other times runny inside the chicken Brie sandwich sometimes good portion of chicken inside then next time less …. The coffee is full bodied aromas and nuances depends the country the coffee is coming from excellent but the Achilles heel is the front of the house specially this lady ‍you asked for something like food from the cabinet or any sauce she didn’t stop to listen what are you saying then she ignored your order always with grumpy face please remember that the hospitality means customer service and quality with consistency makes the difference when the customer decides where to go or never back again

Lovely selection of traditional breakfast food for lunch with a great range of lynch sized mains. I had the fish tacos. The salad and fish was light and fresh exactly the way I like it. I would recommend a visit just based on the food. The flat white coffee was strong and perfect. Good service and buzzing atmosphere.

My husband and I visited Altura in the morning on 8/10/24 for a nice cup of coffee and a small snack.nWe were seated in the balcony section and a young lady served our coffee. As she was walking towards us I already noticed that she was unstable and the coffee was about to overflow. When she approached us there was no hi/good morning/how are you let alone any eye contact. She literally put the coffees down on the table and hurriedly left. My husband's coffee was spilt on to the coaster, I was about to call the server back for a serviette to wipe the mess but she was already too far to be called back.nWell, it was our first time there trying to see if this cafe could be our regular spot, but no, unfortunately We will not be going back there.
