Great friendly service with an awesome selection of bikes with access to really neat trails and wineries. Fantastic day out with very unique memories. Hiring a bike is a feast for the senses!

Gary at Kiwi Journeys has great e-bikes - all Bosch having sold off the Shimanos relief as we’d had a bad experience with the latter in Noosa.nnHe was helpful on routes to take and advised us on timings for the ferry to and from Rabbit Island which operates from just around the corner.nnWe did 40k to Richmond and back and I still had three bars left out of five having used ‘sport’ and ‘turbo’ settings much of the trip.nnA varied landscape including a stunning beach and striking estuary flatlands made for a thoroughly enjoyable tour from midday to teatime.

Even though the bike didn't work out. But the service were brilliant. Fast response too. Highly recommend.

After researching multiple bike shops in Nelson my fiancee and I ended up choosing Trail Jouneys based on the great looking bikes and the great service at the front counter. The owner, Sean hooked us up with two bikes that looked almost brand new and rode very smoothly. We rode the trail towards Mapua which was great and then they have there own ferry service which gets you onto Mapua so you can enjoy the small town. After a few cold beers and a delicious lunch we cruised back to Nelson.nnBottom Line: The bikes are great, the customer service is even better and the price is right.
