Farro Orakei

Looks very clean and tidy. It's a little bit expensive side. Product looks very fresh.

Orakei bay village is a very popular place to dine and to shop. It also has a fantastic view. I like to shop at the Farro. The display is neat and tidy. Fruits and vegetables were very fresh and premium in quality. So many cheese selection and there was tasting on site. Most of the products are not found in common supermarkets. Staff are very helpful and friendly.

Located at a picturized Orakei Bay, this little supermarket is beautifully presented with high quality stuff, some of them quite unique to me. Love it

I went to Farros yesterday and was very excited as I hadn't been there before. I found the selection to be poor, the food looked old.nnI bought a bag of fries that were over $10, I brought them to the counter the chips fell out of the side of the bag so I asked for a new bag of chips - I was not comfortable taking an open bag of chips - the cashier lady was not particularly concerned. The lady went away and came back. I got home, the lady has given me the same open bag of chips. She had handled the chips and the chips fell out of the bag.nnI am very upset at the experience and this diminishes my trust in Farros. I feel this is a health and safety issue that I have been sold a bag of open chips and I will not be going there again.

Gourmet paradise!nThis branch is situated between two affluent suburbs of Auckland. It's part of the Orakei Village. It's a treat for foodies and a market for some artisan producers to showcase the best they can offer. Kiwis love food. You can find a lot of novelty stuff that you normally can't see at the supermarket. In times of post COVID-19, we need to support local produce and here is a great place to start.
