Woolworths St Johns

Bought these crackers on 19Dec 2024 and opened it 2 days later. They were so stale that we could not eat them. I also bought truffle cheese and it had a best before date a few days after. The latter is my fault as I should have checked the date; in saying that one does not expect cheese to have such a short shelf life. I tried calling Woolworths, St Johns and there was no response to my call, hence the review.

Store renovation taking place to include a pharmacy. All the shelves and product placements have changed and it is a nightmare. Seems to be taking a long time to happen. Annoys me because I was familiar with the location of everything and now it is all changing. Change for changes sake? I’ll be avoiding until the work is complete.

I was there yesterday buy a cigarette pack and showed my International license as my ID In the counter, but staff refused to accept it. Disappointed with their service. They should at least show some respect to immigrant as we dont carry our passports with us all the time. Wish their policy reviewed and updated according to current advanced world.

Maybe a bad day, but received poor service today. Check out operator had an attitude and didn’t want to pack groceries.nnI understand during lockdown and the different levels packing your own groceries was a way to keep the contact down. What’s the reason now? Pak n save make a point that you pack your own groceries, you get cheaper prices.nnAlso doesn’t help when the operator is scanning and not looking where they are pushing the groceries.
