Always a pleasant shopping experience at Farro. They have a fantastic selection of food and beverage from a range of carefully picked suppliers, a lot of which can’t be found in supermarkets. I’m sure it’s a nice store, but the online ordering is SO bad.nnI live in Hamilton but will be in Auckland next week, so wanted to order an item to pick up.nnYou HAVE to register for an account to be able to do this. No guest option.nnTo register for an account you HAVE to include an address, even if you only intend to pick up, rather than have something delivered.nnI used my Hamilton address, and was not able to create an account… even though I’m picking up.nnYou also have to include your birthday, not optional. To order one piece of cheese.nnThe form kept resetting back to the start thanks to my “invalid” address.nnSo, I used a random Auckland address.nFinally made it to the checkout.nThere’s a $5 charge for the privilege of driving to the store to collect your piece of cheese.nnI’ll just order from the Christchurch delicatessen I found which delivers for $10, and doesn’t require me to have an account for my cheese purchase.nnEdit:nDespite not ticking the box that said you could email me marketing, I’ve now received a marketing email I certainly do not want.nWhen I clicked unsubscribe I was able to input my email address, but when I submitted was directed to a 404 page not found, so can’t even unsubscribe.

Some good products to choose from.If they don’t stock what you want and you have to go to there suppliers.I have notice there sliced and shaved ham is not as nice as it used to be to be., it’s from freedom but tastes is not as good

Lots of quality stuff, good place to shop if you don't mind to spend more

Great place. Can be a little over priced for some items... but all items are amazing!nLots of great pre-made meals.nFeb 2024 update. They have completely rearranged the layout. Much better to find yummy food.
