Delicious early lunch today with work mates. Best Mushroom Eggs Benny I have had for a while. Fabulous service, pre ordered food so came out 5 minutes after arrival, bang on time. Cafe can be coolish because its fairly open to the small mall it opens onto non southlanders were a wee bit chilly . Haven't been for a while so will be back!!
Great place to stop in for a really yummy breakfast. The relish was very nice too. We arrived just as they opened and with a few more people turning up at the same time, it did take a tad longer to be served but understandable.
Stopped here for lunch on our way to Lorneville. We were greeted by a most friendly waiter who promptly showed us to our seat. We ordered chicken filo, shrimp salad, tea and a large flat white. The shrimp salad was divine but the flat white was acidic and sharp. This was not to my liking but others may like their coffee this way.
Average is how I would explain this place. The decor seats especially was tired, the floors under the tables beside where we sitting were covered in dropped crumbs & the food I was served was overcooked & dry... The waitress who took our order was lovely tho
Cafe looks inviting, sparkly clean.nBackground music is lovelynSadly the customer service wasn't so sparkly and inviting.nYoung person didn't greet me with a smile, say good morning or offer me a menu or seat.nJust went straight to the till head down , smile down and grunted yes.nFor me its all about the customer service that brings me back.nI had eggs bene the bacon was very salty, the Benedict sauce tasted like tangy butter. Mushrooms would be more tasty without the strong flavour of the herbs.nCoffee tastes like boiling watered down milk. A different brand of coffee might work it wasn't the barrista as has a lovely personality and wonderful customer service.
