Our Airbnb host recommended this restaurant, and we had dinner here last night. The food was absolutely amazing! The steak with mushroom sauce was a real standout—incredibly tasty and definitely lived up to its name, 'Choker'. The battered oysters were great too. We truly loved every dish. The service was top-notch as well; Wasa was incredibly kind, friendly, and patient with all the customers, which is a rare and precious find nowadays! Highly recommend!
Excellent service at Wasa. We ordered the prawn black risotto, the mixed grill with a side of potato gnocchi, and the seafood chowder. The food was overall satisfactory. The red wine jus was delicious—it complemented the grill perfectly, and we loved the gnocchi's texture. The seafood chowder was fresh and not too creamy. The prawn black risotto looked unique but was average in taste; however, the prawns themselves were very fresh.
I was taken here by my partner. My first time to this place. Cozy, relaxed, beautiful ambiance. Choice of music they play, I love it.nnFood- 5 star excellent. Chowder was superb and should try the slow roast pork belly awesome! With mashed potatoes and some carrot, green apple. That was an absolute delight to your pallet!nnService- staff were amazing! Very welcoming. Wasa served us and he looked after us, the smile and happy serving us. He was very helpful when we asked about the food and other places we could go to around the area.nnAtmosphere- brilliant! Relaxing cozy style
First I want to say thank you for your hospitality, the service was top notch. Then the meals we had were some of the best food I've ever had when going out for a special occasion. Compliments to the chef. The staff was of a very high standard. We definitely will be going again.
Highly recommend the platter, had a wide range of food including mussles, steak, cheeses and more, great value for the price! Special shout out to our waiter Wasa who was super welcoming
