I ordered the raw fish with toast at this restaurant. It was topped with capers, and the first bite was full of rich flavors, and the fish was very fresh. However, the strong flavors of the toppings somewhat overpowered the natural taste of the fish. Overall, it was a pleasant dish. Next time, I’d like to try the beef one—it should be even better.
I’ve been here for brunch and I highly recommend coming here. The food here doesn’t just sound good on paper, it’s beautifully balanced in flavour and truly delivers. Everything was delicious and I left feeling, full, happy and excited to come back for brunch but also to try their dinner menu.nnStaff were also friendly and the atmosphere is nice!
We went to duo for dinner. It has a comfortable atmosphere, more casual than the menu suggested not a fault. We had excellent service from both waitstaff. They clearly know their stuff for both the food and wine menu. We had sourdough with umami butter, nduja eggplant, pasta, snapper, and caramel pudding. Every bite was perfect. High end food quality, with a warm attitude and generous portions. Will definitely be back!
Thoroughly enjoyed our dinner at Duo. We came in for the Crayfish Menu but being massive piggies decided to order a few extra things as well. We started with the steak tartare and omg, I normally hate steak tartare don’t love the texture but this was amazing. Serving with the endive and Parmesan was an excellent idea.nWe then had the crayfish on cracker which was also amazing - real explosion of flavour offset nicely by the crisp crackernNext up was the crayfish brioche bun and once again was fabulous. The buttery sweet brioche contrasted nicely with the crayfishnNext up was the crayfish stuffed zucchini flower and this was ok, didn’t love the textures of the prawn and crayfish inside the zucchini flower. Felt very chunky and meatbally - would have been better more mousseynNext up was the crayfish pasta and this was good although not my favourite. Came with sides of fries and lettuce which felt a bit random.nWe also finished off with chocolate caramel dessert and this was also really good although felt this biscuit tasted a bit funny.nSuper friendly staff the owner served us and she was so friendly and nice. Allowed us to try the wine before we ordered a bottle which was great as we do not love our first picnWe left very happy and very full. Great way to celebrate my hubbys birthday
Food was superb. We got the potatoes nduja, nduja being a spicy salami. The flavors were sophisticated and the variation of textures were delightful. The dish is on the spicier side so be aware.nService can be slow due to being very busy. But staff is kind and friendly.nnThank you staff
