Honey Cafe Ponsonby

Lovely little hideaway cafe with good coffee and beautiful baked goods. The courtyard is peaceful, leafy and opens onto a quaint little park. Staff are attentive. The dairy free cabinet options are limited but there is a good selection on the menu. I’ll try the food proper at some point and report back.

What can I say, it was raining so we seeked shelter from the rain and found this pearl, if we would’ve lived here this would be the go to place. Amazing food, the best burger I’ve ever had, made by Wagyu beef. The staff was really really nice and was motivated to help us.

Creamy mushrooms with poached egg was delisious, but would have been perfect with 2 poached eggs. Omelet and fried chicken with waffles...also great according to my daughter and husband. I definitely recommend eating here.

Always a pleasure dining here at Honey Cafe. Everything we have tried is delicious! Lovely staff and great vibe in what was once the old fire station.

Food was great, the photo is the smash avo. Very tasty. A friend got the chicken waffles and that was really nice. Highly recommend.nNice quiet outside area.
