We tried the 2-4-1 breakfast special. The eggs, poached, with my choice of bacon as the side. Our corner table inside gave us a lovely view inside of the harbour bridge and sky tower.

We decided to try this place for brunch based on the honest approach by Owner Chris to some of the reviews and make up our own minds.nnWhat I can say is the family was very happy we came here for brunch.nnGood vibe and the service was top draw. Chris and his team were busy but got the drinks and the food out in a timely manor. The prices are very reasonable and throw in the view we had and I can say it is a real gem.nnThanks Chris and your team, my money was well spent. Grant, Trudy and Noah.

Always a pleasant place to come for brunch. Service is great, excellent coffee and food and relaxing atmosphere. Only feedback is there were a lot of flies and birds inside the restaurant today as the doors were fully opened and being Summer time so can be annoying when you are trying to shoo the flies and birds away every few seconds.

What a fabulous cafe. We visited as a group of 9 and had the privilege of being seated in the semi-private room which was wonderful as most of our group were seniors so this helped with hearing each other.nnThe meals and looked amazing and tasted just as amazing and our host Carrie was wonderful with her bubbly, friendly, nature and superior service.nnWe will have to find more reasons to travel to Birkenhead from Orewa so we can have more Bungalo experiences.nnOh, and easy off-street parking on site - what a bonus.nnThank you Team Bungalo. We will see you again.
