Denny's

I know Denny's is not the best, but it's open late and you can dine in, the girl that served us was great. Maybe it's just nostalgia for me. Haven't been back to NZ in a few years, but the quality of food seems mediocre at best and the prices don't really match the quality of food. Chef Mic Microwave was definitely used on the ribs, not a good look, burger was nice and desserts were good, nachos were yuk, too long in the microwave, wings were meh. Not the best place to eat, but it serves its purpose if you're hungry and it's late.

Service was generally good, atmosphere was reasonable, and there was lots of space when we went. On the brunch menu, plenty of meals come with complimentary tea and toast, which is very handy. The portion sizes are large. The value for money here is fantastic.Food: 5/5

I was invited to go here recently and even though I didn't really want to, I did end up going. The food was a lot more expensive than what I would have thought given their reputation. The food wasn't bad, but it wasn't good either, and I could easily get similar value for less somewhere else. For some weird reason we had to ask several times for water and the food is quite salty, so it was needed and when it did come we got 6 glasses for 8 people and only a pitchers' worth. It wasn't a horrible experience but it did reinforce my original impression of Denny's. If I got invited back I'd likely go, but I probably wouldn't choose to come here.

Hadn't been to Dennys for a few years, but enjoyed my meal there on 9.1.2022. I had a satay roll then chocolate cake and ice cream for dessert plus a mango smoothie. They were all fresh and delicious and we didn't have to wait long for our food. My sister had a pancake stack with butter, some spring rolls, a chocolate milk shake and a coke. She didn't complain so it must have been delicious.

Came for the curly fries and they said they had none. This place is dated and run down despite a semi recent renovation with the new colour scheme. Over priced menu with below average food. Millennium burger $16 for that I expect gourmet like Burger Fuel or Burger Burger for that price. 2 stars as the deserts don’t seem to have changed and a big fan of the Hot Fudge Cake

Not a place you always wanted to go, crowded and food was serve in 30mins. But the hospitality of the staff are commendable.. smiling, work well under pressure and gives attentive service. You pay for the price of the food, a bit salty and mediocre. Regardless, this place serves a plate if you’re hungry.Recommended dishesHot Fudge Cake

Came in the evening with family for dinner, I dunno if was just that evening that the service and food was very mediocre? There were two lamb dishes we ordered to be medium rare, both came well done. Other orders that came eg. Chips, chicken nuggets were alittle soft no crunch, the beef chili hotdog, the sausage was mushy couldn't taste any flavour, chicken buffalo wings were dry the burger was good. The milkshakes we ordered at the end all tasted concentrated with flavour and so didn't taste natural. Overall it was mediocre, prices can be better with what you get, service was poor to ok. May come back next year.

First time my family and I have been here upon a recommendation from a work friend. Expensive for the quality of food, our chips were not fresh. Pumpkin & Spinach Lasagne looked like soup, we thought they gave us the wrong order. Our server was a really sweet lady. No cutlery or napkins on the table, it wasn't served with our food so we had to request it. It's only convenience is being open 24hrs. It's a very relaxed atmosphere, some diners were in their PJs and robes and we were there in Smart Casual at 1am. It might have been better in the past, but it's not a place I'd be choosing again. Walked into team not thinking as one noticed grubby glass on doors food on ground tables not clearing & dust & old food around fish tank & pot plants. Customer service not clear looked & felt like ohhh im not wanting to work & not being sure where to seat us due to tables left with dishes. Overly cooked hashbrowns Coffee flat white beans were burnt paid a large price for a regular One sunny side up egg other over done Toast had smeared butter like there was no more to fufill the toast before serving had to ask for more it came out with marg eww, as to no attendee service to what dennys had back when to refill coffee or anything else to purchase when needed felt abandoned not being at a dinner. Salmon english muffin breakfast was too oily tasted like it was fried with oil Hollandaise sauce was packet made has not realness to it no more. Not recommending dirty hoping i dont get sick ..... Needs to be throughly cleaned & better happier customer service & cooks, all need think one team to have it done also tables cleared on time to allow shorter wait time to be seated.

Was feeling a bit hungry so had a quick google and it showed this place was open 24/7 so off we went at midnight and the place was packed. Quickly joined then line and was seated in 10 minutes and had our food not long after l. Staff were great food was good pattys could be better but all in all was a satisfying feedFood: 5/5
