5stars for 3am Gym goers. Carpark can be a pain after 4am. Nice recovery room with 3 massage chairs, yoga mats and foam rollers opens at 5am. Has a Hitt room opens at 6am mon-fri 8am weekends
Put in 2 repair requests for the lat pull down machine nearest to the changing rooms - still hasnt been repaired. Spray bottles dissapeared & the ones available are empty most of the time. Womens changing room looks like it hasnt been cleaned in months. B.O smell in the afternoons really bad - not Cityfitnesses fault but it would be good for a policy to be put in place or a sign up on the wall to wear deoderant. Music in the changing rooms way too loud.
To crowded, to many people hanging around, no machines available every time I go it. I tried going in different times but still to many people and they hogging the machines. Only treadmills, rowing machines and bikes available. I've also been to Ormiston and mt wellington they all the same just to many members I can never get a proper workout. Was thinking of canceling my membership.
Member since i came to New Zealand and loving it more than ever as my workouts are going great. For me all the gyms are good as long as they have squat rack, hack squats, preacher curl machine, cheat press machine, back rowing couple of them are missing. And being one of best gyms they should get them. Rest all good
I go here 3+ times a week. Facilities are usually really clean and staff are great, there are some leaks that have been around for years which is funny to me still.
