Capers Cafe... what a delight!! This Cafe has a lovely welcoming layout, lots of plants and relaxing music. I found this Cafe had a great ambiance about it. The coffee was nice but the friand was a tad bit dry... the orange flavour really came through though and the icing on top definitely helped. Great gluten free range too!! The staff were super friendly here and the wait time on the coffee was incredible.... I don't know if I could make an instant faster at home. I look forward to coming back again!
Googled healthy food Rotorua & Capers Cafe popped up so we went on a walking mission to find it from the lakefront & well worth the effort. Efficient staff finding seats, taking orders & delivering great food on a busy holiday morning. I love a cafe that provides a little tub of yummy condiment to enhance the meal. We stuck to the cabinet food & we’re very pleased with our orders. Great cafe all round!
Food is very fresh and delicious! We were really hungry and started Googling and found this place! I never heard or had Tan Slice in my life and their tan slice is out of the world! They have various kombucha options and are all equally good! The coffee here is really good too! I love visiting the store and buying some local chocolates!
Came to Capers for breakfast and absolutely loved it. The ingredients were so fresh, original and complimented each other really well. Portion sizes for the price was excellent and the staff were really friendly and attentive. The coffee was good too. Definitely a must visit if looking for a breakfast that won’t disappoint.
The food was amazingly good and healthy! We ordered the Chicken, Mushroom & Bacon Fettuccine and the Paprika Lamb Shank. They were both a delight. Cafe atmosphere was lovely and the staff were polite.
Had a breakfast withy two children, the environment is cozy and warm, bright and friendly. Large selection of food, also can make family box or catering box for big groups. The Granola is the best ever i have had so far. By tasting it you will know they are using top of the top ingredients. Very nice. Coffee has no doubt, absolutely meet my expectation, the coffee station is very attractive. The top mirror located abovethe station opens up the view from a different angle. Overall, very impressive.
Long weekend Kings birthday was quite busy. Lovely cabinet selection, big menu can be quite confusing. Ended up getting the loaded fries with pork belly however they run out of pork belly so substituted for bacon, kids meal picnic platter, cauliflower, leek & tandori soup and some garlic bread. A bottle of water, apple juice and ice chocolate. Thank you capers, very nice
We decided to have breakfast and lunch here whilst we did some work. The food came out in a timely manner and we were able to work on our table without any distractions. All of the food was really good and tasted delicious. My favourite picks were the banana toasted cinnamon bagel and the turmeric latte.
Was recommended this place for the gluten free options. The granola gf was delicious, I went back the next day and even had dinner there. The girls serving were so friendly, such a delight to see smiling faces. I'd recommend anyone to go eat there. Coffee was good.Food: 5/5
Went there twice. The first time was a better experience where the coffee no sugar was good and mixed berry cheese cake was really nice. The 2nd time though the coffee came with 2 marshmallow first time nothing, the coffee was so sweet note that the person did not ask me and add sugar by default. The lemon slice we ordered during our 2nd time was at the sweet side I expected it to be sour.
