Fancy Meow Cat Cafe

Had a great time patting cats and The Little Emperor spent all 50 minutes allocated to us playing with the cats. Garfield/Tiger was the star for us but all cats were friendly and the place is very well run. There are 3 rooms and the third room has massage chairs which is for grown ups only as it’s the entry/exit to the cat living quarters so the cats get some space away from excited children.

Wonderful cats! Super cute, beautiful and friendly, amenable to a few pets and may even sit on you if you're lucky. Playful too - a few had a great time attacking the draw strings on my hoodie. Really welcoming staff that makes sure they're all well looked after. Loved it so much I visited twice in two days!Food: 4/5

Most unique cafe we know, was shocking to found out around 32 cats were there. Interior of the Cafe was lovely and a lot of ice cream flavours including butter chicken! It's a heart warming place to visit and definitely will visit again!

Saw something about this on Tik Tok and had to come through when we were in the area. Parallel parking available kerbside. The cat area/ ice cream and coffee area are separate. Admission $18 for a 50 minute session. Purebred cats! So beautiful and fluffy and different types. There are cat toys at the door you can use. All the pats! There is a quiet section at the back with massage type devices on the seats. Some kitties just jump in your lap and stay there. All the photo opportunities! Highly recommend if you love cats and are in the area. Kid-friendliness: Lots of supervised kids here. Great outing for them too.

Amazing cafe, have been to a few cat cafes but nothing like this one. Cats were super adorable and seemed very happy. Topped it off with Gelato which was tasty overall great experience and will visit again when we are back in rotorua.

Cuteness overload!!! If you love cats and coffee this is the perfect place for you. All the cats are very healthy, friendly and happy. There is a "secret" pathway to a "private" room where these fluffy balls can take a break from socialising when they want to.

Really yummy gelato. The cat cafe itself seemed to be clean and have plenty of room for the cats to move about and hide out if they needed a little down time. Several of the cats had a cold/respiratory infections while we were there, so hoping they were getting treated and feeling better soon!

CATS! They’re not particularly playful, but they certainly don’t mind people. I would recommend trying their gelato, was pleasantly surprised. The cat section is quite large, it’s easy to spend forever in there if you find your best friend. My favourite cat ignored us and came straight for my handbag!

Love this place! I come here a few times a month, the cats are adorable and the place looks amazing. The staff member Helen gave great customer service, was super helpful and friendly, and the creme brulee ice cream there is my fav! 10/10
