Bula Takeaways

Tried out 4 dishes: Chilli prawn; sweet and sour pork; chicken stir fry; and beef fried rice. Portions were very generous and extremely tasty. The chilli prawn smacked your taste buds like a Chuck Norris roundhouse kick! Prices were fair. I highly recommend to order by phone as we needed to wait quite a while before we got our food. I will definately come back here again.

Extremely underrated fish and chips. Out of the other places we have tried, Bula Takeaways is on top by far. The Hoki fish was fresh, with a generous serving, and at the perfect price. The chips were also cooked to perfection, with fresh, clean oil. The workers are also very friendly. We really enjoyed the food and service, definitely going to go back. Highly recommend trying it.

I'm so impressed by this place. I had to come back for seconds two days in a row before leaving New Zealand! The food was incredible, and the staff are absolutely amazing people as well. Highly recommend.

What a Beautiful lady who serves so chatty and welcoming " The Food was melt in your mouth goodness., Myself and hubby were very impressed with our Lamb shanks and butter chicken and pork belly we ain't local but we'll be back for sure every chance we are passing through.Food: 5/5

Ashme and Merkesh hope i spelt your names correctly have worked very hard to make their business as successful as it is. A fire nearly destroyed their premises befors they had really started, but they pushed on. They are very frirndly snd helpful plus their food is awesome and prices are not over the top. Bula Takeaways in Selwyn Heights is only place to go for curries for me, and their european takeaways are delicious as well.
