New Zealand vacation day 4- came to McDonalds for a quick breakfast before heading out to see the natural geysers. Not our first choice, but glad we came by. This locations decor and atmosphere was amazing! Lots of tribal Maori art. Staff was very friendly and everyone smiling. Was great to see. Food was good as well. We noticed that the soft drinks were not as sweet as ones in Canada. A good thing!
Came here with 3 others for a lunch. Ordered the Choose Your Own Share Meal 4 burgers, 4 sides, 4 drinks. For $37, good value for money. All the food was a good temperature and tasty, especially for fast food standards. Although the salad dressing was forgotten when we initially got our food, when asking at counter, they apologized and provided us with one. Bathrooms and general eating area was all clean and seeing was comfortable. Also, the Maori carved decorations was a nice touch. One of the better fast food places.
Very dissatisfied , ask McDonald's politely by saying could you please take off pickles in burger as am allergic to them. Got told that is fine. To get home to this put in.
Stopped in on the way home from turangi. The staff that interacted with me were absolutely lovely, friendly and really polite. I'll be happy to stop there in the future. The restaurant was beautiful and clean.
It's was a busy morning, not enough staff on. Dirty floors, over flowing rubbish bin, bunch of people waiting for their orders, missing food and cold coffee Overall it wasn't a pleasant experience. I'm sure on a good day they're 5 stars but unfortunately the day I was on I can only give 3 stars.

Came in for breakfast at 8:17 am Saturday the 4th of June. Waiting time was long. Got handed our food but not our coffees so I asked the lady at the counter how long the coffees will be and she with a very rude tone answered "I don't know". I asked her if she could find out she said "I will when I am free". I thought this was very rude so I asked for the manager, she told me that she was the manager and went on to say "Jesus Christ". I thought this place would be a lot more family friendly considering its a tourist spot but I guess not. Would not recommend it. Go to a cafe rather.
After a 4 hour trip in the car for my kids we decided to stop here for them to stretch their legs. At 2 and 4 they just want to play. At 8:30 in the morning the playground is closed for cleaning. Told this with attitude and it was still closed when we left at 9. Why would you clean a play ground when you expect kids to be playing on it.
Nice Big Mac Donald’s. Beautiful layout and culture. Nice big sitting area for people watching children in big playground. One of the nicest Mac Donald’s I’ve gone too.
The food was decent however my frozen coke could have been mixed together better with more syrup. There are clearly issues in how the site is managed as the chain of command seems to break down with certain items not making it to the table. Worstly the new open plan arrangement for the McDonald's was carelessly designed allowing for noise to echo across the building from the children's play area, resulting in an overall unpleasant atmosphere. Place would be vastly improved with closed doors to the play area.
