Briscoes the brand is lovely and I like the range in-store. Also love the constant sales on. And often a nice display in the entrance promoting furniture.nBut this store always seems messy, under stocked, and understaffed and today’s visit was the same.
Complete shambles in most isles. Yes, I'm aware of the time of year/sales etc but was a hazard throughout the store. I have worked in retail for over 40yrs, including large stores and would never leave it in such a state. Even if some isles were tidied, not all. At least some effort to show work in progress.nMaybe a few staff could work after hours or before opening on these days?
Everything you need for your home and plenty of other stuff you never knew you needed from bedding to kitchenware , laundry and so on. Reasonable prices and even better of you can get it during one of frequent sales. Well stocked with wide range of items from lower to higher quality and prices, something for everyone’s budget. Very helpful and knowledgeable staff treating everyone with smile and kindness.
Stock was a mixed bag and we drove here from Salisbury Street especially for a duvet cover we wanted which was in stock there. We couldn't find it, one member wasn't helpful, said it would take her ages to find it, so we asked someone else, a lady named Kit, and she found it for us! Very thankful for her help! Thank you Kit!! We are stoked, always a sale at Briscoes!
I have always loved briscoes in Hornby until I went in to find boxes all over the place with products all over the isle and no room to move due to the terrible mess. I have never seen a store in such a state . One poor lady tripped over a trolley with stock left in it leaving no room for people to move without danger. What’s going on with this store now?
