Everything you need for your home and plenty of other stuff you never knew you needed from bedding to kitchenware , laundry and so on. Reasonable prices and even better of you can get it during one of frequent sales. Well stocked with wide range of items from lower to higher quality and prices, something for everyone’s budget. Very helpful and knowledgeable staff treating everyone with smile and kindness.
Maybe it's me , it always looks messy in a majority of the isles.nSome really good deals if you take your time.nA few overpriced items all in all good selection.
I had such a bad experience with this store. I am fully aware that there can be glitches in systems and mistakes made however the 2x woman I met from this store were unprofessional and one of them was plain rude! The younger girl just spouted things from the top of her head but spoke as if what she was saying were fact and the older lady I spoke too was belligerent. She made no sense at all and spoke to me like I was an idiot about things not relevant to the problem! Neither of them apologised by saying there must have been a glitch in the system etc etc but just rattled away spoke over me didnt listen and both of them made up ridicules theories to explain the problem. I have shopped at every Briscoes in Christchurch without a problem at all but this store... I will not be back and do not recommend this store based on my experience.
I had a gadget with some issue and I rang Briscoes Papanui to get it changed and the girl over the phone said that she will try her best to get it replaced for us since we bought it around a year ago. So didn't had the receipt. But then we went to Briscoes Hornby since it was our nearest one. The English girl at the counter was polite and looked into our matter and tried to help us at her best. But there was another girl on the Check out named Simran, whom we didn't even consult to but jumped unnecessarily in our conversation and tried to be bossy, whereas she even didn't know the warranty period of that product. So just an honest review as well an advise to the Manager to give some training to Simran as how to deal politely and not give fake expressions to customer and make them feel awkward. Not going to visit this branch again.
Came in on Monday just after 10am was surprisingly quiet considering how close we are to Christmas. Had a lovely girl serve me at the counter, was a real credit to the business! Thank you for great customer service
