Don't know why it's taken me so long to visit Little High, but oh my goodness, I'll be back. Huge delicious burgers Big Jim is amazing!! And if you've debated getting the cauliflower.... my advice, DO IT!! Easily one of the most delicious things I've had. We'll be back!
That... was... PERFECT! Whilst the Man Mountain sounds as intriguing as the challenge the name conveys, I decided to go simple and test the "Lil" burger for what it was in its simplest components and it was very much worth the wait. The warm bun melts in your mouth, the bbq sauce is smokey, dark, and sweet like I love it, and the patty itself is smashed and, again, perfect. I got my bacon fix on the loaded fries which were equally good with fat chips and real bacon strips.
Hell yeah, this is a good burger. Small for sizing and a little sloppy but it’s worth it. The loaded fries were pretty good. Kind service. They have an organic cola that I tried, not a fan but nice aesthetic.Recommended dishesMan Mountain Burger, Loaded Wedges
First time dinning at the little high eatery in Christchurch. What an amazing experience I had. So many options amongst a thriving somewhat busy food junction. My stomach was bigger than my eyes this day as I ordered pork ribs as well as the biggest and yummiest burger I've eaten in my life Monday lunchtime was the perfect time to go as there were heaps of free seats an loads of parking. Bacon Brothers Burgers is the first stall on the left as soon as you walk in through the front door. This place serves a good range of homemade burgers, including beef chicken vegetarian, paleo, keto. All burgers served with Andy's Mums Aioli n BBQ sauce. Average special mention the beer battered fries were cooked to perfection. Golden and crunchy, with right amount of seasoning. Great recommendation option from staff as I was Super starving. I ordered The Man mountain at 24.50, comes with two smashed patties, cheese, chicken, bacon, onion rings, tomato, lettuce and egg! Worth every cent! Mouth was Literally watering at the sight of this thing. Extremely flavourful. Great balance of textures. Crunchy onion rings to the succulent hand crafted beef patties. Would definitely go back for a feed and I Highly recommend 'The Man Mountain' Burger from Bacon Brothers Burgers for anyone who has a serious appetite.
Very happy to have a gluten-free burger. Chips were a treat as well. Great job.Food: 5/5
Troy and the team at BEERS/Bacon Bros sorted us out by catering for our wedding. The food truck setup was brilliant and the food was absolutely sensational, with everyone commenting on how good it was. We had a huge selection to choose from that catered for everyone including pork ends, pulled lamb, beef brisket, chicken wings, BBQ jackfruit, slider buns, chips, deep fried cauli, broc, onion rings and slaw. They made life on the wedding day super easy and everything ran perfectly. Would highly recommend these guys for wedding catering or just a feed instore.
Went in late on a Tuesday night, the guy on the till was low on people skills and the burger wasn't up to scratch and the $7 chips were a joke at almost 50c. I have had better from these guys in the past.Food: 2/5
We had the pleasure to meet the Bacon Brothers team at a private event of 400 guests. Troy and his team were absolutely amazing. So kind, helpful, nothing at all was a problem for them. The food was so delicious and they worked so hard from the beginning to the end. They had food options for everyone there. Absolutely would recommend. Thank you
Tried it tonight for the first time and 'Andy the Electrician' was honestly the best burger I've eaten in my life. Better than any burger I've had from other gourmet burger joints. The quality of the smashed Angus beef patty was top level. But for $7 the "hand cut fries" were nothing special. Dietary restrictions: Gluten-free coeliac options.
We had a disappointing experience with a delivery order, but the staff at Bacon Bros contacted me the next day and apologised. Will give them another go in the near future. Thanks for getting in touch.
