I come here regularly with some friends for breakfast before we all start work. The $10 breakfast special is good and I usually add a side of hash browns for $4 to top it off. For what you get, it’s a pretty good deal. Customer service is a bit hit and miss, but is not too bad.

A great pub. Good beer, tasty food, and fantastic service. We had the lamb shank and filled steak. Both were great.  To top it off we played pool and drank Margareta from a tea pot. We will be going back.Food: 4/5

I rated this place a 5 but I've gotta put it out there. The customer service from the Thai Woman is absolutely unacceptable! We used to come in quite a bit and I rated her customer service at a high level. Dunno what's happened? But the vibe from her body language made us feel unwelcome to a tee. No smile, slamming forks/knives on the table like just really cold vibes, didn't even acknowledge my child and take his order. We're all for supporting local and the food is really good but I hope next time we come, sorry I don't wanna be served by her. The Asian guy with the glasses, ka pai to him because he was lovely and served our group well.  UPDATE 16/01/22: We came back with a family group last night and our waiter and waitress did an excellent job serving our group. Please let them know, they did an excellent job and appreciate their service. The young man with the accent and the young woman who was on serving, sorry don't know their names but keep up the good work it'll be people like them who will keep us coming back & because of them my rating goes back up plus meals again were really delicious as usual as well my frozen strawberry daiquiri

I’ve been eating here every time I’m at Christchurch. They got good specials everyday. The one I’m always getting tho is this beautiful lamb. Tastes as good as it looks.Recommended dishesLamb Shank

I'm giving this a 3 as went there for dinner and pool games for a mates 30th, the food was fine and no issues with the waitstaff or bar staff but had one of the bouncers on a power trip! threw my best friends partner out for wearing a hat indoors though no one mentioned this when he was there and the bouncer actually grabbed him while playing pool took his drink and made him leave the DJ wears a hat would staff not have to follow the rules same as patrons?  The duty manager was amazing and very accommodating but I think the staff member in question needs to be retrained in a few things like communication of these. Other than this being an issue the night was great once the security manager and duty manager stepped in on our parties behalf.

Great service all around, amazing drink selection love bringing friends from out of town too show off inner city with game of pool !Food: 5/5

Blackboard menu $20 Hineken and ribs and chips and salad. Nowadays everything very expensive but this menu is great cost performance. And good things was teast good too. Late night you need to wait long out side with que.Food: 5/5
