The Institution

Came along for a drink last week and I wanted to share my thoughts on an experience I couldn't fault. Amazing drink selection, with some nice simple beer choices pouring on tap. I opted for a milk stout which ended up being incredible. The cheese toastie changed my damn life & the music selection was beyond hype - I mean, you cannot fail with Anderson .Paak. This was all enabled by the friendliest waitress I have encountered in hospitality. Thank you guys! Incredible vibes

We had a private party on Saturday night, we hired the whole place, we had a two peice band and a DJ. with 40 of our good friends it was amazing! The venue was perfect and the bar staff were brilliant, really helpful with all our requests. Top night, definitely recommend it to anyone! Thanks again wilko

Absolute legends here! Our favourite bar in Christchurch hands down. The staff are the saviours of humanity, making themselves vulnerable to become relatable and to feel like we’ve known them for years! Amazing cocktails and a brilliant selection of everything else. I will forever be grateful for the level of professional service the people at Wilko’s provide. A real safe haven for anyone wishing to be themselves and feel comfortable having a few drinks. 10000/10 would recommend. Literally everyone go here!

Stopped in for a pint on the way to our camper, ended up staying for two and had an great chat with the bartender. Excellent staff, knowledgeable and friendly, would definitely recommend to all!Service: 5/5
