The staff are always so friendly and professional - even when my card bounced for a fortnight, they were always so nice. Love the classes and how they have options for beginners. I thought yoga would be intimidating but Zama has made my start to yoga just lovely!

Pros: - Sally gives a great class with the options of more advanced or stronger poses. I didn't find any other teachers that did that, so if you are intermediate or advanced in your asana practice, be wary of which teachers can guide you. - Lots of classes and varieties to suit all schedules - Great for beginners - Value the spiritual side of yoga Cons: - Class descriptions rarely match what actually happens. You need to know the teachers and their styles. - The heat isn't always on in hot classes, and even when it is, I've only seen it at a maximum of 28, not the 35 like it says online. - Simple asana classes - Zero customer service. I was never greeted, spoken to by name, or asked how my class was. - Harsh ambience. There are florescent lights everywhere and the reception area is very cramped, even where there are only 5-6 people there. The lights in the actual studio are also really bright and annoying when you're lying down or looking up. Most teachers play no or minimal music, but that's a personal preference. There are some positives, and I think it's reasonably priced, but there are better yoga studios in the area.

Zama Yoga got me hooked to yoga so quickly! It's a beautiful space, in an awesome location, and the people are friendly and so welcoming. There's a broad range of teachers who all offer different styles and help each yogi cultivate their own practice. The hot yoga is addictive, the barre classes are so much fun and there's always events planned and things happening at the studio.

I love the Zama Yoga studio in Toowong. It's the perfect wind-down after work, the staff are wonderful, it's very affordable, and the atmosphere is lovely. I always admire the little projects they start up - whether it's a fundraiser, a special class, an option for a healthy breakfast, or a new pose to try. The variety and fresh ideas are awesome. The positive energy is great
