I'm not a local but my daughter and her friend were attending the local carnival today and popped into this woolies amongst some other local stores purchasing products. An older woolies employee rudely told my daughters friend to hand over her back pack and when my daughter loudly told her friend that she doesn't have to hand over her bag the woolies employee snatched the back pack off the friend and proceeded to unzip and go through the contents of the back pack . Unsatisfied she found nothing stolen she accused the friend of stealing a chewy packet that was clearly days old and half the chewy had already been consumed. I'm not sure what this woolies is running but management need to read and learn what the law is around checking bags and make sure staff aren't breaking the law and keeping their hands to themselves. Utter disgrace.
I had a frustrating experience at the self-checkout. The staff in this afternoon were unhelpful and seemed disinterested in assisting with issues. Customer service needs improvement. A little friendliness and willingness to help would make a big difference!
I’m writing to express my disappointment with a recent experience at the Woolworths Pakenham store.i have frustrated experience While using the self-checkout counter, I was treated poorly by a female old aussie customer service staff member and the manager. Their behaviour was rude, unhelpful, and publicly embarrassing.nI felt humiliated in front of other customers, and the situation was handled with a complete lack of respect or professionalism. No customer should ever be made to feel that way.nDue to this unacceptable treatment, I will not return to this store and will not recommend Woolworths Pakenham to anyone.nnWorst, poor staff of this Woolworth pakenham should be kicked out.
This young gentleman James was extremely helpful and experienced in working at this shop. He knew all of the items and recommended me a hamburger with the lot. It was exceptional and I think he goes because he was quite muscular. The other reviews were baloney as the flake was perfection in my mouth. And the chips and potato cake were not oily at all and were cooked exactly to my liking. I’m going to come back maybe for James maybe for food
Helen at the self-serve was incredibly rude. I was after a mascara that had been advertised as $13 online half price and when it came up as full price, I asked her if it was meant to be that amount. She reluctantly came up and kept asking me if it was only that price online or in-store aswell, to which I didn’t know and was why I was asking her in the first place. She then sighed, said “ugh for godsakes” and called someone to come, which they didn’t. After waiting I said she could just take back the mascara, but that she didn’t have to have such rude customer service. She justified her actions by saying I was arguing with her, when I simply didn’t know the price of a product and wanted a worker to help. Other customers needed her assistance and she appeared happy to help. Don’t know what I did so wrong but she needs a lot of work on her attitude.
