UPDATE: I was refunded for this portion of my order and the store has responded to my review. I'm happy with how they've handled the issue I raised, and can understand how the issue occurred given the mould was well hidden within the bag. As I saw it before eating the product, no harm done at the end of the day. Hopefully they can keep an eye on this kind of product going forward and pick it up earlier. Changed my rating to reflect the store's response. **************** Shopped from here every now and then, both in person and via delivery apps. Bought a bag of cheese today along with a few snacks from here on Ubereats. My cheese, despite being within date, had a chunk of mould in it.
I bought a few items here as I wanted a treat to drop off to my young nieces close by and grabbed some ibuprofen for my sick daughter with a migraine. Everything I bought was twice the price I would usually pay but it was urgent. I go to drop off treat and it's not in car. I ring up store as I must have left it on counter and the woman immediately assumes I am trying to scam her. I check receipt and it's on there and I ask her if she could ask the man that served me if I had left it. This was very hard for her and she they said it was not there. The box was too big for me to not notice if I dropped it the two car length I had to walk. It was a frustrating loss that I could have felt better about if the woman hadn't treated me like garbage and tried to be helpful. I wouldn't want someone like that working for me.
