Poor Maintenance, expensive. The lift buttons are always broken, or so nearly so you almost need a hammer to work them. Extremely disappointed the Early Bird parking has been changed to pre-book - too much hassle.
I made a booking here just before Christmas to attend an important medical appointment in the city. Given the significance of the appointment and Christmas rush, I was careful to leave ample time to find parking despite pre-booking. Unfortunately, Wilson had severely overbooked and I had to be reallocated to another location Collins Place via telephone. This would be fine, however, this venue was also overbooked and when I called for another reallocation no one picked up. After several attempts to contact Wilson Parking and more than an hour spent trying to find parking which I had the foresight to book and pre-pay!!, I had to abandon ship so to speak and take the closest park Secure which cost nearly $100. It was a highly stressful experience especially in the context of my medical issue and quite frankly is ridiculous given the care and planning I had taken. I contacted Wilson for a refund of my original fee and reimbursement for my alternative parking costs which I wouldn’t have needed had they adequately provided the contracted services. They refunded the paltry fee for $17 but made no attempt to provide redress for my other parking costs which I incurred due the unethical practice of overbooking which, unlike airlines, seems to be unregulated in parking and their failure to provide a manned customer service line. I spoke to someone on the phone just before New Year who was incredibly rude and unempathetic, quoting the ‘terms and conditions’ in their fine print that note that ‘parking is not guaranteed’. Instead of an apology and providing say, for example, a credit or petty cash which other industries, like hotels and airlines, offer in the event of overbooking, I was met with gruff service and a very impatient manner. I could almost hear the gentleman in question rolling his eyes at me but was promised a call back within a week. It is now nearing the end of February two months later and I’ve heard nothing. This is all in the context of a serious and stressful medical appointment and is really just unacceptable. Do better.
Booked online and paid $8 for Sunday, arrived and saw all reserved signs, not allowed to go to second floor, blocked. Pressed button and talked to someone, explained , was told I must go out and submit refund request online, total time waster, Don’t waste your time try to park here, it was like 99% already reserved.
Wouldn't even give one Star! Nowhere on the signs entering the parking does it state that you must pre book on line to receive the $15:00 flat rate, only provision was enter before 2:00 exit before 6:00. Every person in line to pay for parking was totally disgusted and felt tricked and ripped off! Stick your parking up your exit! Cheaper to park on the street and be fined.
Parked here for our matinee session at Regent Theatre. Short 12 mins walk. Better parking space, clean easy access to the lobby of Park Hyatt hotel.
Best place to park your car if you are going to the footy a short walk to the ground
So expensive it would have been cheaper to park on the street and pay a parking fine than park here. I wouldn’t recommend this parking space at all. Early bird parking is ok if you enter between 6 and 8am but you need to remain parked there until 2 pm to actually get the cheap rate. The majority of parking spaces are reserved for local businesses and the church. Kind of pointless. This company takes advantage of lack of parking spaces that people may only use for 2 hours and charges $60. Look somewhere else.
First time to park here tonight. Bit creepy to walk all the way from old peter mac building at 0940 at night. Parking space is a bit narrow and tight. Just have to park so carefully.
Parking is expensive. If the boom gates open when you expect them too, nothing special. Type into Google Wilson Parking + discount to see what kind of prices they can offer
Stop selling cheap parking tickets in the evening when there are no spaces left avail only reserved spots which were empty but you're not allowed to park in them!.
