Quiet station at the terminus of the Williamstown line. Has regular services from Southern Cross, which is about a 30 minute trip. At night you will need to transfer at Newport station to get to / from stops between Newport and Williamstown. Station is less than 10 minutes walk from the main shopping and tourist area.
Great 1 platform train station. It is a manned station and the staff there are almost always quick and helpful! There is ample room for standing undercover and plenty of seats along the platform as well as a toilet block as well. Within a 5-10 minute walk of Point Gelibrand and some cafes on Nelson place.
LAST STATION ON THE WILLIAMSTOWN LINEnQuaint little station that is the last stop on the short Williamstown line from the city.nIt has toilets. Just the one platform as it is single track at this end of the line.nJust a short stroll from the station gets you into the Williamstown village centre where there are lots of cafes and the leafy commonwealth reserve - which on Sundays has a local market.nTrains aren't that frequent on this line so check the timetable if you don't want to wait
Good station, has toilets, parking and an alcove to sit in. Trains may not come as often here though and it is a bit out of the way from the main shopping district. It is rarely crowded though
I like this station, provides good access to the nearby parks and the trains are reasonably frequent.
