Waterbar & Grill is a multi award winning steakhouse situated in The Pier complex with panoramic views of the marina and surrounding hills

Waterbar & Grill offers you all the essentials of a memorable dining experience; excellent food, friendly staff and an unbeatable location. The locally sourced beef is second to none, the ribs are to die for and there is plenty of seafood, vegetarian and lighter options. Open 7 days a week from 11.30 am, all major credit cards accepted.

Lovely staff and atmosphere, one of the better places when visiting Cairns. Have had the pork ribs and rib eye here and they are both lovely. The steaks are cooked just how you order them, not over cooked or under cooked. The flavor is good but not phenomenal, hence why a 4 star. Their mushroom sauce is amazing, salt and pepper squid is just ok, however their sticks date pudding dessert is amazing. 

It’s priced great especially if you are causing from Sydney or Brisbane.

My favourite restaurant in Cairns for dinner. Such a lovely atmosphere, great food and exceptional service. Just a bit of advice, book in if you want to eat here as they book out quickly.

Had dinner here on recommendation of local as best in town.  My colleague and I both ordered the rib eye expecting a beautiful premium cut of meat (for $39 plus sides) it should be decent.   As I advised our lovely wait staff this piece of steak was not a good quality cut of meat was poor quality cut of meat.  Really dissapointed in this meal tonight and would have been even if it was $20.  Will not be back and would not recommend to anyone who understands and appreciates good quality beef and if this was a one off looking at all the great reviews it should never have left the pass..

The location is good and the stuff is friendly. 
We had to give our order at the bar. 
Even though people sat at only just 7 or 8 tables, we waited over 20 minutes for our order. 

For my taste was the burger pattie too “dry”.

Excellent service by the waitresses. Great food too.. Good feel by the waterfront.
