My wife and I enjoyed our last night of out honeymoon in Cairns at Ochre and were extremely impressed. We had a boardwalk table with sensational views and an fantastic server (Courtney) who made the entire night even more special. Having the 6 course meal with matching wines we were treated to some of the best menu choices of the chef, we were not disappointed once. A perfect finale to our trip.

Good view of the harbor with fantastic food. The pork belly is very crispy and so delicious. The recommended red wine - Shiraz is fantastic to go with. A good choice when visiting Cairns.

Very good overall. The bread with local seasoning was fantastic same with Aussie starter of croc, green ants and kangaroo. Mains were also good but incorporated too much generic "asian" flavours to make it unique. Thai, Chinese sauces overwhelmed the kangaroo and steak and didn't taste "Australian" at all. Wish they would try a more modern Interpretation of indigenous Bush recipes. Not sure what that would be but at least it would be interesting.

What a great experience fabulous food great service 
Enjoyed every course. The wait staff were very attentive and knowledgeable. Lovely location on the water.

Food was tasty and liked that I was able to try Australian food (kangaroo). But it took waaaaay too long. Took a long time to get our drinks and even to place our order. Mains were over an hour from ordering and 45 minutes from starters. By the time it came i wasn't really hungry and just ate it because it was there, a real shame for a $54pp meal.
