Nestled in the Lower Blue Mountains, the historical Wallacia Hotel is located a 1 hour drive west from Sydney CBD and 15 minutes from Penrith CBD.

Horrible food! Never had such a disgusting meal any where, as this place. I ordered chicken schnitzel and the schnitzel was so greasy it was almost swimming in grease. I blotted my food off with many paper towels trying to make it edible but it was just far too greasy. Chips were horrible, gravy was a microwave mess and cold. Not sure who you have preparing these meals but I think one would have to be drunk to eat here. Expensive for garbage. Ps. Not sure what the mystery color flecks in my schnitzel crumbs were but they were also off putting. I threw it out. I wouldn't even feed this to my dog. Won't ever go back.

What a delightful beer garden to slurp good beer and cheer. Doesn't seem rowdy as before...but yobs being yobs will clear their heads and remember the days of running around naked because your mate did. Save it for the girlfriend.

Great family pub. Awesome food and a warm and welcoming attitude. Great play area for the kids and live bands on weekends.

I have not stayed at Wallacia hotel, but I have been to the hotel for Drinks and meals and events. The 4 times I have been there the meals have been inedible the bowl of chips are so cooked I could have broken a tooth, the nacho meat leaves oil on the top of your mouth and if you order a pizza ask for it undercooked if you want to bite thru it. The last time they had Karaoke on so my children were thrilled to have a try they waited there turn in the line each round, but because the locals complained the Karaoke host has been removed, seriously what is wrong with this place. We were asked to leave a 9:30 because of the kids that's fine no drama there. I'm just not sure why the security guards yes plural 2 of them walked us to our car. We didn't want to stay at you hotel we would rather spend our money at a family friendly venue. -5 ☆.
