Absolutely wonderful place, all of the staff are very friendly. I couldn't sleep last night so I had a good chat with Kevin, he's a great bloke. The aircon and heaters work very well, the in-room facilities are spot on. The coffee from front desk is always perfect, the wifi is amazing.nI went out for the full day and when I came back, my bed was perfectly made for me just to plop down on. The bathroom is so good, the shower belts you with nice hot water, I didn't want to get out of it.n5 stars, definitely worth every penny.
I was really impressed with my stay at this hotel. The room was spotless, comfortable, and well‑maintained, and I appreciated the little touches that made it feel welcoming. The staff were friendly, professional, and always happy to help, which made the whole experience even better. The location was convenient, and the facilities were easy to access and well looked after. Overall, I felt relaxed, looked after, and genuinely satisfied with my stay. I’d definitely choose this hotel again.
Good free of charge parking, 24/7 cafe and reception with good variety. Rooms were very clean and reasonably modern and spacious.nDanielle the night manager was also extremely nice and very helpful.
The location is excellent. So much to see and do locally. The staff are friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean and well appointed.nHowever, I had emailed the hotel prior to arrival about a special request. No reply or mention was ever made by staff of the email.nThe door to the shower/toilet area is missing the handle and lock. Meaning a large hole to view through and no privacy.nThe bed was the hardest mattress, very uncomfortable.
We had a very pleasant three nights stay at Mercure Penrith and would happily recommend it to others.nnThe location is excellent — right next to multiple fast-food restaurants and with direct access to Panthers Club, which gives plenty of choices for lunch and dinner without needing to drive anywhere.nnCheck-in was quick and smooth, and the front desk staff were very friendly. A special mention to the gentleman at reception who kindly advised me not to park under a tree due to bird nests above — a small but very thoughtful detail that saved my car from being covered in bird droppings!nnThe room was clean and tidy. Housekeeping was efficient, and while the room itself is a little dated, the bathroom was spacious, very clean, and well maintained.nnThe bed mattress was a bit too soft for my preference — it would be great if the hotel could offer an option for a firmer mattress in the future.nnSoundproofing could also be improved. We could hear guests talking next door and doors closing above us, so next time I may request a room in a quieter area of the hotel.nnOverall, despite a few minor points, I’m still very happy with the stay and would give Mercure Penrith a solid 5-star rating. I’d definitely stay again and recommend it to others.
