Saw the reviews online and decided to stop in for lunch. There were three of us ordering food. The food took 40 mins to come out and that was okay provided the food was fresh but unfortunately when the food arrived we realised that it was infact inedible. The frozen fish tasted off and undercooked. My father couldn’t eat it. The pumpkin soup tasted like it was Campbells heated up in the microwave mixed with some coriander and finally the burger had the consistency of compressed sawdust.nThe only decent thing was the side salad however it had no dressing.nnFor $80 total, the meal was woeful. For such a nice looking pub  with great atmosphere, I am very shocked that the food tasted like it was all  microwaved.nnDo not eat here!!!!!

Our group of 14 had our Christmas lunch at the Grand View Hotel today. While I was anxious about the changes since it sold,  I can say Trevor, the new owner, went to a lot of trouble to accommodate us. The food was great, as was the service and the room, and we all had the best experience we could have had at any pub or restaurant in the Blue Mountains. I highly recommend ref Grand View Hotel and wish Trevor and staff all the best for the future.

Had a great experience at this hotel. Staff were super friendly, and happy to help. They kindly held onto my bags while I explored for the day after check-out. Really nice place to stay as it is walking distance from the train & shops, and close to the start of the Grand Cliff Top Walk.nnWentworth falls is definitely the nicer side of the blue mountains when starting your hike!

We stopped here for lunch and had a chicken burger and a beef burger.nOMG! They were delicious.  11 out of 10.nProbably needed 1 more person working the bar, but overall no complaints.nWell worth the stop.

Under new management, the food menu and the  ordering processes have become typical pub style. It use to be excellent, above par. I won't be dropping by for a meal again.
