Falls Mountain Retreat is a true oasis for the discerning traveller

Story

We are an award winning contemporary hideaway, nestled amongst acres of peaceful and secluded gardens just a few moments stroll from the majestic Blue Mountains National Park here in Wentworth Falls. We're all about the great outdoors, with direct access to famous walking trails, stunning waterfalls and magnificent views.

We're not a Hotel, we're self catering holiday rental accommodation which we reckon is even better than a hotel.

Rather than paying for services you mightn't even use we put everything into the accommodation and at a great price for the quality. We offer a range of stylish architect designed studios and suites all of which include deep 2 person hydrotherapy massage spa baths, romantic open real flame fireplace, reverse cycle heating/cooling and large private outdoor balconies or courtyards as standard.

We had a very pleasant stay at Falls Mountain Hotel. The hotel is conveniently located close to Wentworth Falls, only about a 5-minute drive away. Free parking is available, which is great. However, having a car is recommended, as the hotel is a bit away from the town centre and not very convenient without one.nnThe highlight of our stay was definitely the room. It was very spacious, clean, quiet, and felt warm and comfortable. We stayed on the second floor, and the bathroom was also large and very comfortable, which we really appreciated.nnOverall, it was a great experience and a relaxing place to stay. We would happily recommend it to others.
Although the apartments are getting a bit tired, we would definitely return. Value for money, amazing location, very happy and friendly staff.nThe hot tub was amazing after spending 8 hours tramping in the Blue Mountains. Nice and peaceful location, just over an hour from Sydney .
First, Excellent service! Front of House staff was so friendly and helpful. She emailed me to check my arrival time in case the reception is closed when we arrived. We managed to arrive before reception closed. The check in procedure was easy and quick. She called the unit about 15min later to make sure we got in to the studio and asked if everything is fine. I asked about turning the heat down for the fireplace and she walked me through it.nWe love the jacuzzi in the bathroom, the fireplace, the balcony, comfortable bed.nLocation was great, 15min drive to Scenic World. List of nearby eateries can be found in the studio too.nEverything was thoughtfully planned. Our studio was very clean so no complaint on that.nI would gladly come back again.
The rooms were nice but not super fancy. The beds were comfy and we slept well but the best part was definitely the fires and the massive spa baths which we definitely used!!. It was lovely and thoughtful to have the fires going when we arrived we arrived quite late, after hours and the after hours check in was super easy.nnUnfortunately the rooms weren't fully clean. We found evidence of previous residents hair in the bath and bed, but that would be our only complaint. Everything else was lovely.nnThe grounds are stunning! Beautifully kept and peaceful. The location itself is also stunning and very close to local cafes and restaurants.
We hv stayed here during Covid and really liked it then. But it was so very dilapidated, tired and didn’t live up to the part with ‘luxury’ in the name. Didn’t get a chance to take photos, but the rooms we were given, the carpets were all folded and tired, blackout curtains had mould, furniture was old and tired, the bathroom was old .. cracked walls, wash basin stand was peeling. The entire property outside needed an overhaul.. paint peeling, off the walls. Just sad. Not worth $300+ a night or more during peak time. We won’t return as it’s just disappointing.nWe were given the loft like rooms and didn’t appreciate there was no lock on the connecting door on the ground floor room going up to ours! It’s totally not Ok that the occupants below can open the door into our room directly. We could hear the door being opened etc. we were 2 ladies staying on our own but regardless it didn’t feel comfortable/ safe either ways.
