Food was generally good. One star is for the rude chef who very loudly said from the kitchen we were “special” (i.e handicapped) because we sent back a pie that was too burnt to eat (it was black), and cold. Incidentally, we saw other dishes from other tables go back because they were cold.

Terribly unprofessional and slow service. Had to wait a long time and even then they didn’t seem to know what they were doing. The food was then inedible. Had a chicken schnitzel and the chicken was off. At the start I thought it tasted different but thought this was normal as the rest of the food didn’t taste normal either. It wasn’t until later the next morning when I had stomach pains all day that I knew I had gotten sick from it. The gravy that I also had with the schnitzel was terrible - it was like all the scraps had been put into a sauce.

Good table service, nice selection of tap beers. Great atmosphere with live music out in the beer garden

Dinner food was not good. No healthy options. Mostly deep fried or fried with thick unhealthy sauces. Salads and vegetable portions were small. Prices are Sydney prices but more healthy options are available in the ‘big smoke’ for the price you pay. So not good value for money at this pub. Beer and wine selection is good, service was fairly quick. View at back will get better once railway work are finished.
